Don’t know if I missed something but I’ve only just noticed Danny is the behind the shirts for Sinnott appeal. Fair play Danny we’re all with you mate!

I think they were close friends and Danny was very emotional at the end of the game tonight. Wearing a number 25 shirt underneath his City shirt.

Someone said tonight that DW was best man at his wedding.

I seen that Danny was very emotional tonight and knew that he played with him at Huddersfield as well as smithies but didn’t realise how close they actually were and that ward was the guy behind the appeal! Also read that he would also like tops from grassroots teams as well so if anyone could send them over I’m sure it would be much appreciated!

Yes he was. Played together years ago and were very close.

All 92 clubs now donated a shirt.

Very good to see, although we all wish this wasn't a situation in the first place.

Thoughts to the family and those close to Jordan.

I understand the tragedy and the friendship these players had with him but Why are clubs donating shirts? I genuinely don’t know.

Something along the lines of they want to donate them to footballing charities to get kids playing in the shirts with his name on the back. I think that’s right but if not don’t shoot the messenger.
