Cardiff City is pleased to announce the signing of Dion Sanderson from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The 20-year-old joins on loan for the remainder of the 2019/20 Sky Bet Championship campaign.
Sanderson made his senior debut for Wolves’ first team in a Carabao Cup tie against Aston Villa in October 2019.
A defender who can play at either centre-half or right-back, Dion joined Wolves’ youth setup aged eight, and played a crucial role in their Premier League 2 Division 2-winning 2018/19 campaign.
You can welcome Dion to the Welsh capital on his official Twitter page.

Probably (hopefully) exactly the type of signing we need. Good luck and welcome aboard.

Not trying to be negative at all as this lad might be amazing for all I know. But unless I am missing something he has only played one senior game ever. Rough and tumble of the championship will be a surprise

Maybe but need cover for Richards, who has been poor last 2 games

Hes 20 and in the premiership full of talented players
Hes what we need to be loaning I think to see what's out there before we buy.
Personally I think this approach is better for us

Richards injury record is awful as well as a couple of dodgy games. What if we ended up in a genuine playoff hunt (unlikely as it seems) and jazz got one of his injuries. All we’ve got is a kid who’s played one first team game ever and Cameron Coxe who struggled against Carlisle. Anyway Could be a good hungry young player with a lot of energy and desire so let’s hope for that
