Garauntee whoever he signs for wont allow them to arrange transport thats for sure! Hopefully lessons learned from ameliano tragedy within football of players transportation especially for the lesser players.

Slightly off the topic but I listened to the podcast with Harry Harris on ace pod nation earlier at work, its in 3 parts, would recommend, nothing in it we don't already really know but interesting nonetheless

he is only breaking laws if he is a director of a company. or managing one. so although its pretty obvious he is pulling the strings its officially his sons business. being bankrupt also disqualifies him from being an agent, but as above its his son will be the agent on any paperwork so not sure what anyone can do really..

He’s banned from acting as a football agent.

Willie McKay was made bankrupt some time ago and would normally. have been discharged from the bankruptcy and its restrictions after one year. However,due to his conduct he had to agree to a further 5 year Bankruptcy Restriction Undertaking which doesn’t expire until August 2023. He is currently awaiting a criminal court hearing later this year where he is accused of gifting substantial assets ( an expensive car and watch) to his wife which he had not declared in his bankruptcy.

A further automatic ban was to stop him acting as a licensed intermediary ( which is what agents are now called) so he is not allowed to be involved in any way whatsoever in football transactions, including helping his licensed son Mark.Mark has also had a company wound up in the Scottish courts for non payment of HMRC debts but as he wasn’t made personally bankrupt he is allowed to retain his licence.

Nantes FC have always been fully aware of Willie McKay’s inability to act in transfers but have continued to use him in clear breach of FIFA rules. Both Nantes FC and their owner have had their offices raided by the French tax authorities whose investigation is ongoing.

yes technically he is in breach of rules and laws..
but thing is there are loads of bankrupt people out there who just carry on doing what they are doing in their wifes, chilrens, friends names. thinking you know something is not proving it, which is obviously very difficult.... and the tax evasion thing was already in motion and had nothing to do with this transfer as no monies had moved ?
