Cardiff City’s Omar Bogle is in talks to sign for ADO Den Haag until the end of the season.

Reports suggest that the Netherlands outfit, now managed by Alan Pardew, are hoping to tie up a loan deal that would see Bogle move to Holland until the end of the campaign.

Bogle has been out of favour at Cardiff City Stadium this season, playing just 383 minutes of football in all competitions for the Bluebirds.

Gary Madine’s contract was terminated by mutual consent, and Isaac Vassell’s season has been wrecked by injury, meaning Neil Harris is short of options up top.

Despite that, Bogle is reportedly close to joining Pardew in Holland. The former Newcastle United manager already has Sam Stubbs on loan from Middlesbrough, Tudor Baluta on loan from Brighton and winger George Thomas on a similar temporary arrangement from Leicester.

Former Ipswich Town defender Jordan Spence joined last week, too.

Bogle’s exit - coupled with Cardiff’s struggles in front of goal - would push further into focus Harris’ need of striking reinforcements. Robert Glatzel and Danny Ward have been sharing the burden to date but there is a feeling the Bluebirds need more reliability in terms of a goal return.

Currently Paterson is the only striking positive(aside from Tomlin obviously), the press don't like positive.

I went O/T there .. but yep Vassell was brought in as a gamble /cover so no idea how good he will be at this level when fit.. Ward seems a different player when he starts to the one that comes off the bench and ive really tried hard to see the positives in Glatzel others see and just don't see them. the much touted link up play are straight forward passes or flicks that more often than not don't come off .

Does not matter that vassell has been out all season as he is due back soon. Ward back soon. Glatzel hasn't been poor and you say Patterson ain't a striker but he plays up top and scores goals...which is what strikers normally do so I still dont think we need a striker especially when you look at the other positions that need back up

We have three strikers fewer than we started the season with. Madine and Bogle gone. And vassell crooked. Paterson didn't start up front on Tuesday and if we rely on him up top it shows how weak we are. If glatzel hasn't been poor.... How would you describe his season?
