Great fightback indeed, let's hope they keep improving, and start pushing for 1st team action, would love us to bring a few talented youngsters throughI'm a big believer in the aussie mantra of,if they are good enough, then they are old enough, not the other way around.well done boys, now keep that unbeaten run going

The fact that reading gave 1st team debuts to their 57th & 58th academy youngster against us,shows how dry our production line has been for god knows how long.I hope if we get to a stage this year where play offs/relegation are off,we blood a couple, let's see if they can make the grade, who knows in the arena of first team action, they could well flourish? I know some will say,if they have a mare it could shatter their confidence, but what or where do they get tested, other than the u 23's.

GET ON THE YOUNG LADS

hopefully these lads have a decent head strong leader that teaches them the rough with smooth and keeps thier head on the ground. Not snowflakes that shit thier pants with the slightest bit of "racism", "bullying", or "homophobia", (previously known as banter/rivalry). That includes previous coaches that have been called all of the above. and us fans too. SHOW SOME STEEL LADS!! Great effort.

Its a very tough world out there. Give as good as you get and be strong, be the better man! In all aspects of your lives x

Wez. I know there are atleast a couple of lads with VERY promising potential to make the step up to the next level. its up to the backroom staff to transition that progress now, and advise the powers that be for those chosen few to be given an opportunity. Also Harris needs to communicate massively with the developers, especially during this unfortunate transfer window. Personally i think Harris is doing very well under the circumstances, our own fans slagging him off, no money to spend, and he shows desire and passion from the side lines. AND STILL GETS SLAGGED OFF pmsl. he has to give the 1st team a shot at play offs first, and then give the young guns an opportunity. BUT NOT YET.

Excellent result for them.

With Harris now actively involved with the system from top to bottom hopefully we will see youngsters pushing on, Harris needs a chance and I for one will give him that as the last manager I remember going to the u23 games in the morning and 1st team in afternoon was Dave Jones.

I notice Sion Spence playing. Does that mean that they've ended his loan to Barry Town? Or are there different rules allowing him to play for the under 23s?
Seen him play for Barry a couple of times and always keep close eye on him as he went to school with my son. Considering he's only 18 he's a big solid lad and didn't look out of place playing with the grown ups in the Welsh Premier , even if the standard isn't fantastic.
Few make it who are taken on at 16, but he seems to have a chance.

I know the under 18s last few years have been doing well against so called bigger clubs ,I hope a few make it ,people slag the club off but the under 18s were the under 10s when tan bought us ,it takes time ,the academy didn't even have a pitch in the dave jones days, mind you the 1st team struggled too
