Forever Blue wrote:Malaysian Striker Luqman Hakim Shamsudin will link up with Cardiff City early in February.
The 17-year-old forward was meant to be heading to South Wales earlier, however Malaysia’s Under-19s coach has kept him in the country to take a further look at him.
He currently plays for Selangor in Malaysia, near the capital of Kuala Lumpur, but is set to join Belgian outfit Kortrijk on a five-year deal in the spring.
Luoman will be then joining Vincent Tan-owned KV Kortrijk in March.
“I was told that I will only be leaving sometime in February as I need to answer a national call-up soon,” Malaysian outlet New Strait Times report Luqman as saying.
“But so far I have not heard anything.
“Currently, I am training with the Selangor team,” said Luqman, who turns 18 on March 5.”
Neil Harris and his coaching staff will asses the striker.
The youngster, who turns 18 in March, reportedly caught the eye of Kortrijk when they watched videos of him playing.
The youngster is highly rated by Vincent Tan.
However, it is not uncommon for Tan-owned clubs to collaborate when it comes to players.

He is signing for another of Tans clubs, but we are going to look at him for a month and if Harris likes him he can come back here on loan.
