good player my only concern is he hasnt played much over the last year or so get him upto speed im sure he's the type of player we need to lead our line. I suggested hugill (not thats its realistic mind) but they are very similar so would be happy with wickham

Alan Nixon, big target man, yes Harris type of player, I'll link him with them!
He is a Harris type player, we would be in for someone like him in all probability?

Hoping this is just more rumours and lazy journalism.

You need a rethink mate
If he comes on loan and gets injured he goes back, simples,no money wasted.
You don't get players of his caliber fit and firing on loan in Jan and believe me this boy is class.
If you could morph Glatzel and Patterson you'd probably get something like this lad but ++
Don't believe everything you read on here.Sheffield are in for him but Hodgson want a bigger slice of his salary paid than Wed can seemingly afford.
Malky signed a Frazer Cambell in Jan after he had ages out and he didn't do so bad did he.

Cardiff City have joined the race to sign Crystal Palace striker Connor Wickham on loan with the Welsh side willing to pay more of the loan fee than Sheffield Wednesday.
The Bluebirds had reportedly identified Championship pair Lee Gregory and Kieffer Moore as potential targets to boost their attacking unit this month, but it now appears they have turned their attention to Premier League forward Wickham.
The 26-year-old has been made available for loan this month after making just eight appearances so far this season with Nottingham Forest, Bristol City, Sheffield Wednesday and now Cardiff all showing interest, according to Bristol Live.
It was previously thought that Wednesday had won the race to sign Wickham ahead of their Championship play-off push, but it is now understood that there has been a disagreement over the Hillsborough outfit’s contribution to Wickham’s wages.
This has now reportedly resulted in Cardiff emerging as strong candidates to land the former Sunderland frontman with the Bluebirds seeking competition for current strikers Danny Ward, Robert Glatzel and Callum Paterson.

Best option I’ve heard us linked with so far but injuries would be a worry.
Might be worth a punt, he’s certainly got ability.
