4 apparently arrested so if NH said didn't hear anything then be asking why didn't he? Shouldn't be using this story as excuse to bash him you do enough of that on every post he is quoted on? this is about the fans not NH.

How dare you describe us in the same bracket as the Millwall scum you served for so many years!
I didn’t think much of you before that statement... personally I think you’re not what our club needs.... but following your acceptance that we have a racism problem without any facts I am counting down the time until you are gone and simply another passenger through the club I proudly support.

would have been a million times better.
but there are also a million responses better than the one he gave.
it was shit and those defending him over this are just in defending him mode..
he wasn't forced to say that garbage about how hard the club are working behind the scenes.. or is there an anti racism programme run by the club that only these defending him have been on or heard about .?

no it really doesn't come across very well …. that's putting it mildly.
was ill thought out at best and will do nothing endearing to our fans
and it shouldn't be thrown into the other complaints, moans re NH. what he said yesterday has zero to do with his tactics. team selection or his lack of charisma.
it was a crap thing to say if your NH , pep, Klopp , vince alm or anyone else.

Come on,with the current climate around homophobic/racist behaviour, and he was supposed to say what exactly? No,we don't do anything as a club to stop/curb such behaviour! ! Yeah that would have sorted it,it's his job to say the right thing,ie" we as a club work hard behind the scenes" imo is far better than saying nothing,ALL clubs have a duty to curb/stop this kind of behaviour, not sweep it under the carpet.I know nothing has been proved 100% yet,and innocent until told otherwise, but what if somebody is charged? Would it look worse on the club,if he had said "it doesn't exist at this club" the press/media would have a field day,not that they all ready ain't! ! I'm surprised if it is proven against a person, that he wasn't ejected by the fans around him,and I know somebody will reply long the "grass" lines, but if a supporter is indeed charged with an offence(racism) and found guilty, it means he must think the same about or players too eh?? Time will make it clearer what,if anything was indeed shouted at all or not.![]()

My point was,it's what he has to say really, not that the club ARE working on these issues, imo he just said what the press wanted to hear? It's not like he's going to say the club does nothing about the issues at all!! So I don't need to point you to any evidence of it actually taking place behind the scenes.I'm just voicing an opinion just like you dogfound,I believe it was better than looking a tit if charges are brought against anyone! And the club made to look like they are liars.![]()

And also,it would be impossible to stop a person shouting racist/homophobic abuse, but All clubs have strategies in place to try and tackle the problem, to eradicate it,is like saying we are going to stop single acts of terrorism, the human race always finds a way around any obstacles,so it's the next best thing to educate these people, as we can never stop them.IF chants are proved against any one of course.
