People can call our fans lots of things but we definitely aren’t racist.
I dont think any clubs fans in the English leagues can be regarded as racist as a whole. Every club has dickheads in the stands and we are no different.
Whilst we are certainly not known for having racial tendencies as a set of fans it wouldnt suprise me if someone had a bit to much too drink and said something stupid.
Hopefully it was a misheard chant but if it was a racial slur then they should be banned for a long time.
If it's about the anti-english / anti-welsh songs then there are a lot of banning orders on the way to a lot of fans because it happens with thousands of people every weekend

The quote says it was a racial incident. It doesnt say it was the whole stand. They put out a generic announcement which uses a term that is used in most of the advertising against those issues which was probably the wrong thing to do as it shows us in a bad light.
Racial or homophobic chanting will not be tolerated doesnt mean it was both it could have been one. Readings announcement also states that "A STEWARD" made the complaint twice. So is it just a person miss hearing a chant or is it possible it's someone with something against the club ?
Could also be that we did have someone that said something racist or homophobic. The truth will come out but if they have no proof then the steward should have action taken against him and Cardiff fans should have a full public apology from reading

Chanting implies several if not hundreds of fans? But not one city fan heared anything other than normal anti English swans chants! And obviously no reading fans did as it's been roundly reported that 2 stewards reported incidents not reading fans.

I just reported a Reading fan doing aeroplane / swimming actions to a steward. Fair play about 3 mins later he was having his collar felt and being escorted out.
No racist or homophobic chanting whatsoever
Loads were doing the swim away. Reporting fans to the police or stewards is wrong. Getting pissed of with city fans reporting other fans ffs
Your opinion mate. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
Why would you think it’s wrong to report anyone making those sick gestures?
