The Championship is crazy and literally anything can happen

Sheffield Wednesday were 3rd weeks ago, 1 win and 4 defeats out of the last 5 has seen them slip to 10th

And the top two sides have won one game between them out of the last 10, they were lucky they had a gap but its almost gone

12pts? That is being way to blinkered. I’d be happy with 8. That is of course unless Harris pulls 3 Or 4 1st class signings out of the bag.

This side simply isn’t good enough.

Agree, it’s very very close if we now start a winning run and the fixtures look very good :thumbright: :bluebird:

well it was good enough to get points off 5 clubs above us plus a good point at brum yesterday out of the last 7.. mostly draws but not good enough would mean defeats in many of those.

football is not a science I know..but having picked up points against teams above us should mean we pick up more points against teams below us..

It will not get 12 out of 15. That’s the reality. I know we don’t to like be realistic on here, and most people believe it’s all Neil Harris’ fault, but it is what it is. Personally, I like Harris, he’s done ok, I blame Warnock for this mess.

Unless players have brain storm and turn up for 90mins in most games we won't get enough points to make top six! But If do have brain storm and realise we can score1st like Sheffield game you never know what will happen.... :old:

We are talking about virtually all struggling clubs, near the bottom and just WBA a tough game at home.

If we can’t get 12pts from 15pts no play offs for us in a very weak Championship.

Aim high not low in life :thumbright:

Re: “ THIS IS HOW IT NOW STANDS “

Sun Jan 19, 2020 6:34 pm

Just let the players try and give a bit more dedication both half’s and finish 12 or above respectively after such a disappointing season - have a clear out end of season through out the club and bring in Hungry professionals who will all go the extra mile in their jobs - as the club as reached an all time low in my opinion- ( onwards and upwards BLUEARMY ) !!!!

Re: “ THIS IS HOW IT NOW STANDS “

Sun Jan 19, 2020 8:10 pm

It’s not about aiming high, I’d love for us to get 15 from 15, reality is very different from where we aim. I am always happy to be proved wrong. Harris needs to step into the transfer market quickly. Until then, we are what we are.

everyone wants to blame someone.
the only blame Warnock should be getting is for making people be unrealistic..

No Warnock should be getting the blame for wasting 15m on rubbish and leaving the club with an ageing squad which will be massively difficult to move on, whilst using our academy which is the future of our club as a place to put the McKay brothers and funny how his own son got a move from Plymouth to get there but whatever. Joe Day, Aden Flint, Will Vaulks, Marlon Pack, Gavin Whyte, Robert Glatzel, Issac Vassell all poor signings by Neil Warnock. Now we have virtually no money to spend because Warnock has wasted it all on dross.

Most managers sign their own sons and other agents sons into academies? :? didn't know that. And yes Warnock has set this club back years which Harris will now have to try and get rid of most of the crap he's signed. If Warnock wasn't to blame he'd still be in the job and the fact you say he shouldn't be blamed for the rubbish he signed in the summer amazes me. But we're never going to agree on this so have a good day

ffs alex furgusson played his 4th division son in the premier league...yes lots do it...and yes if someone like George mendes turned up tomorrow and said whats the chances of my boys coming to your academy you have to be stark raving bonkers to not have them...might not be PC ideal world stuff but having an agent on side cant possibly be a bad thing.

the rubbish he signed... just keep saying it ..its pretty clear you have to because you got it wrong....
15 mill does buy you 7 top end players really it doesn't.... try being slightly interested in football and check it out...

 thing is you want to make these lists...try having a look around... 15 mill ? Leeds have 2 players on loan who they have already agreed to pay 15 mill each for at end of season...we lost 6 players received 20 mill and spent 15... how the hell does that work.
