" Well done Neil Harris "

Sat Jan 18, 2020 5:49 pm

After the players badly let him down in the first half, well done to Neil Harris for being inspirational at half time to help them get us a valuable point on the road.

Neil Harris is doing a great job and fans need to be patient.

He deserves a lot of praise today.

Good to have a manager who is capable of changing a match.

If we are to praise him for the second half then he is as culpable for the first 45. On another day his team talk would have been to keep the score down.

I agree to a certain point, but how Hoilett lasted until the 85th minute he should be questioning himself. It was clear for everyone to see he was offering absolutely nothing to our performance, if anything he was hampering us. But apart from that, I believe he must have had a few harsh words and half time and it’s nice to see the players react the way they did.

Agree. We need 90 minute commitment. He is paid to get the delivery and commitment right.

That's not Harris' fault.

That's down to the previous manager who left these players for Harris.

Harris is doing a fantastic job to even get results with these players.

Bet you were raging when we equalised, you had a whole night of moaning planned out

NH states this is a fantastic squad, so if he has made that assessment then we should see this fantastic squad he runs performing.

We are tough to beat. Only 4 sides have lost fewer than us to date, we need to start turning some of these draws into wins. I would have taken a draw away to Birmingham before today's match, and while we could have lost, Birmingham fans can say exactly the same. Tomlin inches away from winning it, and sounds as if we had a decent penalty shout turned down. All in all a decent result that has unfortunately still attracted criticism from our fans.

yep. and he was held culpable , try reading the crap from the first half on here ,then compare to how little credit he has had for it turning..

Well he’s not going to call them crap is he? Obviously he’s going to say it’s a fantastic squad. It isn’t, everyone knows that, but he isn’t going to say that.

So can I ask do you think harris is doing a better job than what warnock did before him this season

Don’t remember Warnock coming in saying it was a fantastic squad... he made two wonderful free signings instantly. Harris doesn’t have eye for a player or any contacts by the seems. Millwall flying without him

Pleased to read some deserved positivity towards Harris, he is doing a decent job with an average Neil Warnock squad.

managed 2 games less than warnock so far this season with the team has the football changed if at all no not really we are far too hit and miss let's face it we could have been 3-0 down at half time .so what you're saying one off target in 43 rd minute is good enough

Why are we thanking him for salvaging yet another draw after another lacklustre display?

If he motivated the team at half time what the hell did he do before the game?

Exatly why does it take yes only 1-0 half time scoreline but could have been 3-0 for him to get players motivated why cant this happen at start game

Good to see a much better second half but missed a trick keeping Hoilett on so long. Did nothing good all game. Crying out for Murphy to come on.

Are you serious? If he managed the team to start like they did 2nd half from the kick off then he wouldn’t have had to sort it out at half time.

I’m very disillusioned with this manager and disappointed but not surprised ( given the lack of football knowledge at board level) by the decision to give him the job.

Perhaps Harris should do his half time pep talk before kick-off?

I agree that fans should give NH more credit for the job he has done since he joined the club and let's face it so far he has lost just 2 games taking 18 of the 36 available points. Under NH we have also won two away games which seemed unimaginable under NW. Winning an FA Cup match is also more than NW managed.

It's not NH fault that he has inherited a squad which includes approx £15m spent on forwards who let;s face would struggle to score in a knocking shop.

Let's ALL cut NH some slack.
