MY VIEW: CHANTS OF HARRIS HARRIS SORT THEM OUT AT H/T / THEN

Sat Jan 18, 2020 4:55 pm

MY VIEW / OPINION:

CHANTS OF HARRIS HARRIS SORT THEM OUT AT H/T / THEN SECOND-HALF CARDIFF CAME OUT & PLAYED LIKE A TOTALLY DIFFERENT TEAM.

Cardiff deserved the draw for their second-half performance, but def not a quality or good game to watch. :bluebird: :bluebird:

Lee Tomlin man of the match for me :bluebird:

I stand by this Neil Harris is not the right manager for Cardiff City to take us forward.

FIRST-HALF: CLUELESS

Not a single shot from Cardiff after 40mins

Half-time whistle went and it was a third chorus of “Harris, sort it out” from the Cardiff fans and its getting louder

A really, really sloppy start from City and it simply has to stop. It is becoming far too regular an occurrence.

WHAT IS WORRYING IS NEIL HARRIS ONLY THIS WEEK HAS STATED "THIS IS A BRILLIANT SQUAD OF PLAYERS HERE"
Also stated time & time again how much quality there is.

Cardiff City: Smithies; Richards, Morrison, Nelson, Bennett; Pack, Bacuna; Whyte, Tomlin, Hoilett; Ward

Subs: Etheridge, Flint, Vaulks, Ralls, Paterson, Murphy, Glatzel

Once again another poor start by Cardiff under Harris, in the 4th min an easy goal for Brum 1-0

Dreadful defending from the Bluebirds.

35 mins in and Cardiff had virtually done nothing, with "Cardiff fans singing, Harris, Harris sort it out"

Cardiff subs: Paterson came on, Ward went off.

I will sum up the first-half CLUELESS

We actually had a corner after 37mins

NO SHOTS

Half-time whistle went and it was a third chorus of “Harris, sort it out” from the Cardiff fans and its getting louder

H/T 1-0

Cardiff came out and actually went forward and fought for the ball and finally started to take the game to Brum :bluebird: :bluebird:

Lee Tomlin was fouled and gave the referee a sarcastic clap. He goes into the book.

For nearly 20 mins all Cardiff, what a different team, bang Tomlin scores 1-1 :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Cardiff played like a totally different side, Lee Tomlin hit the bar.

Joe Ralls came on for Hoilett.

Smitthies made a great save.

Cardiff deserved the draw.

It's been story so far on NH useless 1st half but an opposite performance 2nd? Just dont get it! They never looked like scoring 2nd half that header was out nowhere.

Why o why can’t we a good 90 mins, how many times have we been behind in games.Sort it out Harris.
Sounded like Tomlin MOTM and Smithies justifying hits place.
So many inconsistencies in this team.

Great comeback from the bluebirds, just wished bennett could defend so we would not let in a goal early on in the game.

Like I previously proposed we have 10 teams currently below us in the table. 30 points if we out played them. So 2 points dropped today

Just heared him speaking on city TV and he knows what was wrong 1st half but why oh why cant he get them to play the way they did 2nd half all game? Very frustrating and can see why fans unhappy.. but given club as lost all its backroom staff including scouts not surprising we are not getting far new players wise .... give him the summer to replace dead wood with his players should get better idea if can progress next season.. this season will die out league cwise but maybe he should concentrate on putting strongest side out in cup after all wont take much to progress to late stages as we know.

After the QPR game the players were apologising and said they owed us. Well we're still waiting. 2 games to beat the mighty Carlisle and go a goal down after 4 minutes to Birmingham :banghead: :banghead:

Does it matter how minutes are played when you concede? The match is 90 minutes and it's the final score that counts. We played in the FA cup against a lower league side. We have seen better sides than this go out to lower league opposition in the past. Who will be playing in the fourth round? Us or Carlisle. Two defeats in fourteen games is not exactly dreadful. If he can get a player or two during the window which results in us turning some of these draws into wins, our league position can quickly change. He wouldn't have been my choice, but I try to get behind our players and manager rather than slaughter them on social media every week.

Syece I've said before could have had a manager all the fans wanted and could be facing relegation that does happen with mid season change, like you say 2 defeats in 14 games shows hes not failing but stuck with another managers players who were failing before NH came in. Everyone knows we need new players and probably wont get them until summer! But never kno may get couple in to change draws into wins..

It was no different for the first 17 games if the season with Sir Neil at the helm. No 90 minutes worth of performance though frequently behind at half time before improving. Definitely not a Harris thing
