This isn’t a Harris out post

Harris could have been announced as our manager, and then in the press conference and future conferences just be open and honest. Instead he’s tried to patronise us fans and Cardiff as a club saying we have a very good group of players, there’s a lot of quality players at the club, etc etc.

If he had come here and just basically been honest, and say in the press conferences that there’s been some bad transfer business in the summer and we don’t have enough quality it would at-least potentially push the players to prove him wrong and perform better, OR they take it badly and lose 6-1 against sides QPR (oh wait that’s happening anyway).

I think the fans never really got behind him because he was protecting his players too much, and didnt admit the lack of quality in defence, midfield and attack.

I genuinely believe if he had been honest and asked the fans to stick with him during this bumpy season and that we would see better players here next season then we wouldn’t be slagging him off on here every time we lose, we would be encouraging him and thinking “Atleast he knows the team is crap”.

But instead we’re left to brood in our thoughts after a heavy loss or an uninspired performance thinking “and he thinks these players are good...”

99% of us got behind Harris and for the first 10 games I kept still hoping and hoping, but the football just got worse.

Harris has stated on numerous occasions , Brilliant squad of players, plenty of quality and that his own style of football will come through,

How many more games will it take to see this

Don’t think he realised the magnitude of the lack of quality in this squad..

If he came out and told the truth, he’d get sacked. He who inherits a turkey is himself a dead duck.

Football is just inconsistent one half crap 2nd half great and he doesn't help himself with poor use if subs and late use of them.

The football is better under Harris than warnock our possession stats show that , he needs to be backed now, this isnt his squad and the squad is assembled to play warnock's way

I agree. Some people on here are too naive and unrealistic. I hope he proves them all wrong.

When are people going to wake up and realise the person to blame for this mess is Vincent Tan.

Harris has been appointed because he is a yes man. Yes Mr Tan I can work without a budget. Yea sir I will play Madine for a bit to try and get you a fee for him and some of your money back (fail).. and I'll drop Murphy and Etheridge so we can get you some more millions in back January. Don't worry how this effects the team Mr Tan your millions are more important.

Good old Vinny he knew things would go tits up with Harris but he comes out smelling of roses and Harris is the perfect fall guy.

No sympathy for Harris mind, no respectable manager with ambition would take this job working under that nut job. Tan doesn't give a flying f**k about Cardiff and until he sells up we'll be stuck playing ring a ring a rosie's with Yes men, average footballers and abysmal football.

So all you need to do is find someone who wants to pump millions into this club, and in the meantime just ask Tan to keep bankrolling the club while writing off the millions he has pumped in. Maybe even persuade him to just walk away and we could have a Welsh derby against Wrexham in a few years time.

You honestly believe Tan is bankrolling our club? Oh dear.

Like him or not VT is bank rolling this club and without his backing we would be up up shit creek.
There are choppy waters ahead for a lot of Championship clubs and I for one are glad we are trying to operate on an even keel

You need to listen to the interview given by David Wheelan’s grandson he talked about how they were pumping a million pound a month into Wigan just to keep it afloat and they had the smallest budget in the Championship.
He went on to say it’s not a question of if but when a Championship club goes to the wall.

The jacks are waiting to see if they can off load some of there high earners like Ayew Baston in the next month if not they are contemplating closing there academy as it’s costing them 7 million a year.

Like all fans I want us to splash the cash and my God after watching that first 45 today I would love us to sign 4/5 players for starters but first and foremost I want my club to survive.

I agree as in we are not really going to be giving it a go unless someone else with a big bank balance buys the club .
but historically that's not what happens here.
so it could get a lot worse without him. so why knock him.
