Cardiff are set to drop their interest in Wigan striker Kieffer Moore.

Latics manager Paul Cook revealed last week they had rejected a bid from the Bluebirds for the 27-year-old.

Cardiff will not be following up their initial approach for the Wales striker and will look at other options as they bid to strengthen in January.

Bluebirds goalkeeper Neil Etheridge will not travel for the FA Cup replay at Carlisle United as speculation over his future at Cardiff continues

Still annoyed that he was a genuine target... says it all about our club and managers interest in making us as ugly as possible on the pitch

this is how the Madine deal went..
we offered 2 mill, they wanted 6, we dropped interest ,tried to sign a few who were even more too expensive, went back and did the 2+4 deal late in the window.

Take this with a punch of salt. I would not be surprised if we sign him for about £3 to £3.5 mill later in 're window.I

Also would be have scored on Saturday?? :eh:

Unusually for us  , we managed to get a few decent crosses in against Swansea Town. I recall 2x headers for Glatzel and the one for Patterson where he hit the bar. None of our strikers a natural good headers of the ball.
Moore is fairly mobile and 6'5" . I'd prefer us to sign Moore than 31 year old Gregory

One of Glatzel's headers was a good header, their keeper crashed into his post, keeping it out! People saying patersons was at least on target, how come the keeper didn't have to save it at least then? On target means just that,on target.ie between the sticks, and under the bar. :old: :bluebird:

One thing about Kieffer Moore is that our current style of players suits him down to the ground

Patterson out jumped defender and had free header he should have scored ! If that was glatzel wouldn't hear last of it.. :old:

They are both poor strikers someone like Glenn murray would’ve had a field day with those crosses
