Barcelona have sacked manager Ernesto Valverde today.
The Catalan club currently lead Real Madrid at the top of La Liga - although the two clubs have the same amount of points.
Barcelona were knocked out of the Spanish Super Cup by Atletico Madrid in the semi-finals, with Real Madrid going on to win the trophy on Sunday.

Seen reports over the weekend that Xavi signed a 2 year managerial contract with them to take over from Valverde
