Cooper blamed the grass

He actually blamed the grass for being too long as a reason they didn’t win just now on the radio; you can’t make it up

Sounded like he had been smoking grass.

He came across a bit of a whining knob, showed no class whatsoever. Probably frustrated he had no idea how to change the game. Quite rightly Psycho ripped his comments to pieces.

He does realise it's January doesn't he? Of course the grass is going to be a bit longer in the winter months to protect the pitch from all the rain we've had. If the grass was a little shorter and the pitch became cut up like a mud bath from the winter weather, Cooper would be using that as an excuse as well.

The ball rolled along the pitch fine and some good football was played today. Josh Murphy had no problems with the length of the grass, dribbling past Connor Roberts on several occasions and getting some balls into the box.

I'm totally bemused by Cooper's comments.
