Must win game tomorrow!!!

Sat Jan 11, 2020 9:54 pm

Massive pressure, and the most important game if the season so far, win and we are still in the race, I think a defeat could end our playoff hopes?

How do you think it will go , and how will it affect;

The team
Harris
Tan and the board ?

Praying for cardiff win but if Jack's score first by god the atmosphere will be toxic

Must win to give us a feint hope of playoffs again but let’s be fair we aren’t good enough to go on a run

Whatever happens tomorrow we won’t make the playoffs imo, which doesn’t bother me at all. We aren’t ready to go up anyway.
As the ultimate pessimist I think we’ll lose tomorrow - Warnock left us in a bit of a mess and Harris hasn’t had enough time to turn in around, and that’s assuming he’s the man to do it.
I’m ready for what whatever happens, I’ve long past the point where this game rules my life!

Harris is a fish out of water

Neither side will make or win the play offs, the game is all about pride and bragging rights.

It’s a must win game for Neil Harris.

The fans WILL turn if it’s a performance like the last two. A piss poor gutless performance won’t be accepted against Swansea.

Sadly, I don't think so; but he will know the pressure will be on, if his team doesn't

The attending supporters will have the bigger expectation and rightly so; this is a big game for both sets of supporters but in the grand scheme of things but beyond it really is 'just another game' in a long list that will define our season and theirs come May when the 'gongs' are handed out

Don't let that make you think I, like all other City supporters except BarryWelsh88, don't WANT the Bluebirds to win; I certainly do and I'll be very loud and proud in my support as we go about the business in hand...a home win! :thumbright:

I normally agree but due to the timing and the following this is the most important game of the season so far:
If we win

The Fans - a full Stadium and some New Fans that haven't been here for years, win and they will get behind Harris the team and the team.

The team -Boosted with confidence and the positive experience

Harris - Will have the majority of supporters behind him for the short term at least, a few more wins and he could turn them fully.

Tan and the board - It would put us back close to the playoffs, 2 points off, and may just get an extra couple of £, and maybe an extra player or two to give it a go.

If we lose the double to Swansea for the first time ever, it would be a disaster, and we would be five points off, with an angry probably fairly hostile fan base, and if it happens we will see the loss of confidence in the team Manager and reduction in season tickets, as another group say sod it!

I generally agree with this post, a loss will define a lot of things among the team, the fans and the support.

So ....................... Let’s be positive and hope for a win!!!!

The fans are already on Harris back... we need a good start today or I can see the crowd turning pretty fast

Happy with the draw, a loss would have been a disaster, still
a chance of the Playoffs although unlikely and a much better performance!

Only 4 points away from playoffs , played better let's hope keeps same team with maybe Murphy starting and lets see if can get this elusive 3/4game winning streak required to put us amongst playoff teams
