I just dont like the fact we subsidising these players wages through our season ticket and sky subscriptions. Even 30000pw is vile .

Wait a minute, the lessons were learned because of Malky was the party line back in the day.
This club has made the same financial mistakes for years on end. No lessons have ever been learned. That lies further up the chain than any manager. These sums have to be authorised way over the managers head.
Too easy to blame the manager. Have the signings been shit at times? No doubt about it. That part IS on the manager if he's the man that wanted them in. The transfer committee etc. that sanctioned it are just as accountable. Things were put in place to supposedly stop this stuff from happening. It hasn't and now we're having to strip back a bit again.

Good argument, but what does the hierarchy do,when perhaps the manager talks the player up to the roof? There has to be some kind of trust in what the manager sees, and believes a certain player can bring to the table,I'm not saying it's all the managers fault, but a large proportion of blame is theirs, more so in our case,as we have very little football knowledge t the top table, which surely must have meant they saw Warnock's experience, and thought he knew better than them? Just a opinion of course.![]()

Spot on. That's how football works. Don't think you'll find it's a new thing and don't think you'll find it's restricted to football either. The supporter, customer, is the means by which club, business, generates its income.
I think it's the choices being made that are the issue.
Like paying our back up keeper £30k a week as is widely referred to.
