Armand Traore and Ciaron Brown have both left the club in the last few days, the latter on loan until the end of the season.

Neil Harris has been told , there is NO money available to buy.

But Harris can bring in a couple of players , City are looking to offload up to 8 players this January.

Harris has on numerous occasions stated he has already a strong squad.




‘ GARY MADINE ‘

Gary Madine's goalless two-year stint at Cardiff City has come to an end.

The Bluebirds have confirmed that the striker has left the club by mutual consent, bringing to an end a difficult two-year spell.

A deal was agreed by both parties.


Madine was signed from Bolton Wanderers for £6m by Neil Warnock back in January 2016, but departs having failed to find the net for the Bluebirds.

Despite enjoying a resurgence under Neil Harris this term, Madine has largely failed to seize his first team opportunity, and has now been moved on.

"Cardiff City Football Club can confirm that Gary Madine has left the Bluebirds by mutual consent," the club said in a short statement.

"We'd like to thank Gary for his efforts since joining the Club in January 2018 and wish him well with his future career."

Meanwhile, have been linked with a move for Shrewsbury Town midfielder Josh Lau

Traore's contract expired without him making one matchday squad, and Harris will surely now be turning his attentions to incomings.

I would be looking to sell Etheridge or Smithies, sell Murphy, loan out Bolger, sell/loan Bogle and loan/sell Madine as he doesnt look to be in Harris's plans lately. I'd loan out Coxe as well but Jazz's injury record speaks for itself.

With NML out not sure Murphy will be going anywhere unless Harris brings in another winger.

The squad needs a complete overhaul. Mountain of a job considering there isnt much money available and there isnt a great deal of sell on value in that squad.

Players like bamba , Patterson Bennett aren't on that much in championship terms but the players that were bought in the premiership are on more

Warnock's Folly Annis. That's the start of clearing the dead wood, hope more will follow. Harris needs to assemble his own team.
