Without sounding ungrateful because it's a nice gesture, why is it always only supporters club coaches that get subsidised. We have loads of fans who travel every week separately from the supporters club. Why cant the club just put on coaches without the need to sign up and go through the supporters club ?

Good idea but who will organise and collate the fans and the pick up points like the various supporter groups do? We are talking maybe 1k fans if good take up of scheme! Dont say club they do not have the staff or experience to do it...

Agree and I'm a little surprised some can't see the logistical issues of a 'come as you please' scenario. Supporters Clubs which are sanctioned by the club itself are generally the best way of both transporting and co-ordinating the mass movement of supporters for any given game

Whilst it is the prerogative of others to make their own way to matches (I do a mix of both) the club cannot account for people not travelling on 'official' transport

Logical to most but clearly not for some

Chris it seems city fans can just wave magic wand and it will happen bit like club signing players let's just do it without going through club or players agent or even if he's available ...

It’s not just official supporters club, it’s any supporters coach that’s recognised by or affiliated to the club.
