HOW TO SAVE THE FA CUP - "MY WAY TO FIX THE FA CUP"

Sun Jan 05, 2020 8:01 pm

Now Various Grounds In The FA CUP Had Empty Seats. There Are A Bunch Of Ways On How To Fix This Issue So Here Is My Way To Fix The FA CUP.

LEAGUE 1 & 2 TEAMS TO PLAY HOME GAMES:

This Would Help Out Lower Tier Teams Who Want The Chance To Progress Further In The Cup, But Only Teams In League 1 And 2 Who Draw To A Premier League Team. So Say If Newport Draw To Man Utd Then Newport Would Play This Game At Rodney Parade. And So On.

SCRAP 2 LEG FIXTURES IN THE EFL CUP:
Doing This Would Allow League Fixtures To Spread Out More Throughout The Season And Allow Fixture During December To Not Have A Big Strain On Clubs Who Are Fighting Promotion Or Avoiding Relegation.

What Would YOU Do To Save This Competition And Bring In More Fans?

Keep it as it is.

Changing things just make them worse.

Only the semi finals of EFL Cup are two legged anyway.

The minow playing at home is an interesting idea and I think is done in Spain. On the downside, clubs could lose the pay day and glamour day out of ties at the really big clubs and grounds

And Newport would make more the double playing Man Utd away then they would if they played at home.
