Some of the home games I have been back to this season less than 18,000 in actual attendance, only been less than a year since relegation and crowds of 33,000.

Exactly. I gave today a miss. Watching a side from Div 3 on a chilly January day doesn't do a lot for me any more. Was a time when I would watch absolutely anyone at NP, even Caerau in the Welsh Cup. Those days have gone for me now, and Carlisle are not the most appealing side for me, and obviously, plenty of others feel the same. Doesn't help knowing the style of our football is more liklely to send me to sleep than sitting in a comfortable armchair in the warmth of my house.

fair play though a club whose stadium is normally only 25% full singing that.

Next Sunday our lack lustre team and manager will be backed by a crowd approaching 30000. They are not deserving of that by any means.

Annis, either way you weren't there. Even if you were counted, you were not in the "actual" attendance.

We all have reasons for not attending some games, you included as you live remotely but it's life.

To suggest if you lived closer you would have attended hints at criticising those who didnt go - and somehow your reason for non attendance is more worthy than other peoples.
