Paterson just for the goal and assist..... none of them should get it again

Josh Murphy for me; and I hope his inclusion today (now cup-tied) is a sign that he's willing to knuckle down and earn a regular starting place for Cardiff City FC :thumbright:

Smithies kept us in it with 2 great saves. The rest were awful again apart from Whyte who worked hard.

Who ever said I was a man ?
Bit presumptuous of you in this day and age isn't it ?

I just thought he didnt do anything wrong and pretty much everybody else were dogshit. I would have said Etheridge as he had his best game in months today sat in the stands but he was not a option.

Its funny how we all see the game differently

I thought Vaulks was one of the few rays of light, he actually looked like he knew what he was he was doing

Whyte improved in the second half but i thought he was shocking in the first half
Murphy is not a winger he is a wide forward he needs space behind and we don't have the skill to unleash him

Smithies did what was expected, it's his job to make the occasional save, nice to see kicks heading in the right area

Paterson looks the best option as a target man (can't believe i am saying this, but it's a reflection how poor the others are)

Coxe looked under prepared, need to go on loan to L2

Sol is the 4th choice CB for me

I think Vaulks looked better because hes playing players at his real level

I agree I think Murphy may well do better as a striker option rather than a winger

Whyte is a headless chicken who needs another 2 years at this level to be up to standard

Smithies is a quality keeper

Patterson is a basic utility player who doesnt excel in any single position

I think that injury has finished Sol at this level

Sol unfortunately looks a shadow of the player he was, still getting back up to speed hopefully , so agree 4th choice.
Coxe mistake for second but a tremendous block in 2nd half, needs more game time.

Paterson ......least he tried and put effort in all game.
Some didn’t seem particularly to care in first half......Bacuna was the worst I’ve seen him play

I’m baffled at how Murphy is close to winning this

Whyte for myself. Never stopped running and looking for the ball plus scored a goal.

I am stunned how so many slag Paterson off, he always does his best which cannot be said for most of our players and like it or not he is still the best striker we have in this squad and has been for a while.

Murphy seemed to try a bit today otherwise total rubbish and didn't see Smithy deserves the number 1 shirt as many on here think either he is number 2 to Ethridge all day long in my view.

Another disappointing performance I really thought after the thrashing we had at QPR the players would have put a shift in today but they didn't. I didn't want Harris as manager but to be honest Klopp or Pep couldn't do anything with this lot and what is annoying we all know they can play better but they cant be bothered

Paterson for me the only committed player over the full 90 minutes most of the others didn’t turn up first half.

The CB were shit the keeper wasn’t good. Murphy was too lightweight. Both CM’s gave the ball away to much. Ward was completely anonymous.

The other three Bennett Coxe and Whyte were all pretty decent in the second half.

Your last line could well have something in it,perhaps this is the "culture changes needed" quote from Harris is about? Something seems array between him and the players (not all).I did think they had turned a corner at Sheffield weds, how wrong I was :sad7: I do feel for harris,Warnock had wrung the payers dry,so decided to "step down" and quoting he had left a good squad! They were 2 seasons ago, some players don't look like anything they did to me. :old: :bluebird:

Can only assume half of those voting wasn’t at today’s match as if they were Patterson should be walking this. Only player committed for 90 mins plus not only scored but also assisted with an absolutely magnificent cross. The fact Murphy is winning also points to people who weren’t at the game voting as he was a complete disgrace with zero fight in the first half. Yes he did well in the second half as if he had been given a pelting at halftime but that still doesn’t make him worthy of a MOTM award particulary when Patterson as I have already mentioned actually gave his all throughout unlike the rest.
