KEEP THE FAITH WE'VE HAD A TOUGH RUN!

Thu Jan 02, 2020 3:35 pm

Harris had a tough fixture list, Warnock had a relatively easy start to the season and we were still off the pace before Harris was appointed!

QPR A
Sheffield Wed A
Millwall H
Preston H
Leeds A
Brentford A

Five of the last six were above us in the League on of those we only lost to Brentford away!

Four away games in the last six it's been a tough run, keep the faith he will sort that defence out I'm sure of that and he will have Morrison and Bennet and Peltier back in with Nelson.

Hopefully, Ralls will be back to we've missed him!

3 points o0ff the playoffs and a transfer window and an opportunity to move some on and get in better :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

at the moment it was just a bad day at the office...im afraid its the worse possible result prior to the derby though...lose to Swansea after this and it really will be a nuclear scale meltdown..

For the first time that I can remember I think I’ll take a few days off the forum if we lose.
If we win it’ll be happy days again....,it’s actually been like that for the 30 odd years I’ve been supporting them lol

Haha that's what I've started to do recently if we lose some of these are the most negative people you will ever come across, they will take you down if you're not mentally strong enough to rise above it!!!

We are not World beaters but we are not relegation candidates either, we've got through a lot worse than this :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Thankfully we didn't have forums in the 70s & 80s. Given the feast or famine reactions to every result these days we would have gone through a few managers ba k in the day. How would the forums treated Alan Durban with two successive relegation?

It's another game it wont define our season as it wont define theirs... certainly wont go into meltdown if lose! Although it would mean the forum being bombarded by them... :o

The meltdown on here on what was probably a one off is ridiculous. Remember Barker and put it into perspective.

Like people said was waiting to happen but could be blessing in disguise if NH does the right thing and drop the players he doesn't want and just use players that he trusts even if means using couple of youngsters in squad

There always over reaction when we lose and under reaction when we win.
Knock off the highs and lows - and 3 points off the play offs at the half way mark - isnt bad at all.

Players to go out on loan / sold :-
Connolly surely
Murphy
Madine
Valks
and a couple others perhaps

From the commentary on Saturday - we seemed to be sitting too deep and if anything had too many in defence.
The season is a right off and we wont go up - so I would identify 2 or 3 academy players and bring them forward. Or at the very least get them out on loan in League 1 and get some first team experience before bringing them back. If they are not wanted by any League 1 clubs then I would question whether to bother with their services.

Doom and Gloom at this time of year - there's always a lot of it about

I'm 60 years old now, so I have seen a few things. We are a football club. We want to be entertained on a Saturday ( traditionally) to watch football, Win lose or draw. Passion in the shirt. Wear it with pride as us Bloobirds supporters do. That's all we ask. Do your best, Blooooooooobirds :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :bluebird: :bluebird:

We are behind many others who also happen to be 3 points off so not as simple as it sounds would take a winning run just to get into the playoffs

Yes,but only 10 pts seperate 3rd and 17th ;) from the top two,it is between all the teams below, possibly even us,fr the play off places. Strange but true,it's very very tight division otherwise. :old: :bluebird:
