No, he has had a tough start with the fixtures, as we get to play some of the weaker teams, we should pick up more points, plus he has leaned a lot from that defeat, some players will be dropped as they let him down and others will get a chance!

no manager has picked up more points in his first 10 games for us at this level mate.. so no its not just not bad its actually very good.
Lennie did better in division 2 or whatever its called these days..
and malkys first 10 were also W4..D4..L2

His record is decent enough. I suppose it's the performances that have disappointed a lot of fans. Limited to what he can do with a squad that he inherited rather than one that he built himself. I know quite a few posters say we have a strong squad, but I don't see it that way. I think we have a big squad rather than a strong one, and from day one this season I thought a top ten finish would be good considering the players we have at the club. I would put us at no better than average, and the table is probably a true reflection on just how good we really are. We desperately need to strengthen, and even then nothing is guaranteed as plenty of the other clubs around us will be doing the same thing.

I hope that there's a reaction now we got 10 days off ready for the jacks hopefully couple of loans in too , we've had a tough run of games , I would play all the fringe players on saturday give them a chance to impress

I think we have a good 11 when they are all fit but we missed laing and ralls yesterday e dont seem to have any width when laing isnt playing , I think bamba needs to be eased back in too

I suppose the problem is that in modern football you need a strong squad to make progress. I agree Wez, we have a decent first eleven but the demands of the game means teams will always have injury problems. I'm not convinced we have the strength in depth to compensate for injuries and suspensions. We are going to need a bit of luck with these if we are to get into the top ten.

he has used 21 players...we always seem to have a long injury list..so I don't know who the fringe players are Wez..

NO - That record of late is not Bad .

No Harris record is not bad. Three clean sheets which is the same as in the first 17 games under Sir Neil. Sir Neil had ability to select from the squad he had assembled when Harris isnt.

Wez,this result may be a blessing in disguise. There's quite a few players that are not at the same level as in our promotion season.I think a lot are stale and need moving on.

No one is arguing his results arnt bad. With the squad warnock assembled you would expect some good results with any new manager coming in. But let’s be honest he’s been lucky. Anyone who witnessed Preston, Millwall, QPR games can vouch for that. Even the Wednesday game away we started well but for the rest of the game after our goals we were outplayed. No what the beef is that he isn’t getting them playing as a team, god knows what system he’s trying to play and if it wasn’t for Tomlin hitting form recently those stats would have a lot more L’s in them. Watched QPR game and what really worried me was 2nd half he was just smirking mad like with his arms folded glaring at his players. He should have been shouting at instructions to put things right. I fear he didn’t know how to and looks out of his depth. The reality is Warnock assembled a large squad knowing that his squad size would be his advantage from the middle to the end of the season as other teams lost players through injuries n suspensions. Who is to say Warnock wouldn’t have got the same stats from the last 10 games. All I know is that we would not have lost 6-1 against QPR with Warnock in charge cos the players knew he’d f**k em up in the changing room. But seriously no one this forum could see a 6-1 loss with Warnock in charge. I’m ashamed to say I was one of the ones doubting Warnock but I feel like I’ve let one of my family down by not supporting him when he needed it. Harris after his ‘promise’ of that not happening again while he’s in charge, referring to the QPR game, what a daft thing to say. How can anyone make a promise like that. Look I don’t know what the answer is but for some unknown reason I can’t take to the man, sorry guys and yes I am a ST holder

After reading your post I'd like to point out that Warnock nearly walked earlier in the season and as for points on the board remember that Warnock was loathed to play Tomlin so I think we probably not have as many points as we have now.
Fri Jan 03, 2020 3:03 pm
Not sure about Warnock walking but you’re spot on with Tomlin. That said, I did say lucky Tomlin has hit form cos be honest it could so easily gone the other way and Tomlin could have played crap. But take your point

Is record isn’t that bad however let’s be honest we have managed to scrape out a few results.
Many of the performances under Harris have been dire and that’s what concerns me. We are a mid table team and are playing like a mid table team however in the majority of games we have been totally outplayed. The defence in particular needs attention as we are leaking goals for fun. We were even totally outplayed by Barnsley at home and even though they scored two they could have had a shed full. Why not revert back to experience? A combination of Morrison/Bamba or Flint. What about playing players in their normal positions? Particularly at home, why not start with a high tempo and take it to the opposition?
We are so slow and lethargic that it generally takes us to fall behind before we start to play.
I hope that Harris brings in a couple of his ‘type’ of players and slowly changes things however what he can do is to ensure that we up the tempo and start games on a positive note rather than falling behind (Sheff Weds the exception) before we wake up.

Well said Wez. The doomsters are going way over the top since the terrible performance on Wednesday. He’s exceeded my expectations so far despite the horror show in midweek. Maybe that drubbing was what we needed to get on top of our season long problems at the back.
Harris and the team certainly have my support and backing

We were scraping results before Sir Neil left too mind.
We haven't played with any tempo for ages. We need to start with clean sheets
