is the JB staying now? Annis can you tell us the actual decision, you keep saying he can be banned yet he is allowed to run riot again and again.

I don't care either way it's your forum and you will run it how you see fit but seems daft to say one thing then do another.

at least it I know hes here I can avoid the place.

Annis has told me he will be banned but the way he destroys threads and gets the hits by the usual trying to argue with him keeps him on here.

Lots of good posters have been driven out by the loons obsession Luke.
Up to Annis though.

it's a shame, could be easily banned everytime. I've said before if that's the way the forum is going no problem I just won't bother.

Re: roathie

So, just so we can clarify and everyone knows the situation...

This is due to the following comment regarding the derby and a Cardiff fan predicting defeat:-

“With derby games, form goes out the window - although you do look exceptionally poor if I am being honest”.

Running amok I tell thee, how dare I.

Simple solution is to lock threads that as gone off its topic with his i know it all and i am always correct attitude, theres one on here that is ridiculous with him and others arguing about the word xmas.. hes very clever in manipulating things so can never ban him because he's a sociopath and loves the attention he gets on here.. I've made his posts disappear so I don't see them anymore only solution really to a very sad individual.

Re: roathie

Wed Jan 01, 2020 5:48 pm

Orrrr you could just all ignore him.

I don’t know why you lot feel the need to argue with the little weirdo and starting threads like this just makes him feel special.

Just put him on ignore simple really problem solved.

Ah yes, the one in which I mentioned the word “Xmas” and due to people unable to combat my point that it is illegal to take money out of a loss making company you own shares in... they started saying I should use the word “Christmas” and not Xmas :laughing6:

Agreed, people are ridiculous. But I am glad you have now put me on ignore so you don’t continue making jibes that you don’t understand only to throw your toys out of the pram when I explain to you why they don’t make sense.

If the likes of the posters above can do the same then we can be on the way to a whinge free forum.

you know he is on here, and know when you manage to get him banned its temporary..

bottom line is people bite and argue with him...they don't have to..

I never knowingly respond to him, it doesn't stop it ruining the forum as others clearly can't.

putting him on ignore just distort everything and makes threads unreadable.

anyway the question was more for clarification from Annis as he has said he would he banned but now mods don't seem to be allowed to ban him?

if Annis likes him here then I have no problem with that but I'm not sure what the position is anymore. just asking so I know if its worth logging in anymore.

Well I think Annis is going to treat me like everyone else, if I break forum rules then he can ban me and I will accept it.

Although I don’t think I have ever broken a forum rule in my life.

Considering I started posting a decade ago and still posting to this day, then maybe not logging in is the best bet - although I will miss these (If I kick up enough fuss and threaten to leave maybe Annis will ban him again) threads :laughing6:

the poster known as Roathie here has not been banned from a Swansea message board ?
we both know that's a yes they have and a yes he has..
so I suggest you go complain about it on a Swansea message board..

Cowardly behaviour isn’t justified because others have also been cowardly in the past.

People in general dislike people being accurate about things they are trying to be selective with the truth over, doesn’t matter who you support. The sensible ones don’t bother stretching the truth in the first place, the idiots cry for them to be silenced so they can continue making silly posts and stretching the truth unopposed.

My advice to people is just be a bit braver. If you think I’m wrong then explain how, calling me names and going crying to the owner isn’t going to disprove my point.

The point of certain forums is you can debate... as long as you are debating topics and having view points that are nice on the ear, whether you believe them or if they are true or not is irrelevant.

Sven was a prime example yesterday. 5-0 down and couldn’t handle anyone saying they were playing badly, ended up having a meltdown and deleting posts he couldn't bear to read.

People use forums such as this as a security blanket for their views and are very precious about anyone threatening that bubble they have created even if it is with sense and fact, often especially if it is with sense and fact actually. We have all seen the threads where everyone is convincing themselves 800 away at Sheffield is good, if enough of you tell each other then that becomes the reality.

Anyone threatening that is not welcome.. I am that someone :laughing6:

That's the problem we are not interested in your point, accurate or otherwise.I have been a poster on here for approaching 10yrs and in that time I have seen quite a few trolls come and go but you remain consistent with your MO if not your ID and as I told you a few times over the years your gratification can only be of the sort that is not football related at all.

And that's exactly where you let yourself down, time and time again as a poster with comments like that, protruding that you're opinion is worth more than others, and that you are right.

Whether or not 800 (it was 900 odd but there you go) to Sheffield is good or not is down to an individuals perception. There is no right or wrong, nobody is trying to convince anybody of anything other than you trying to tell everyone else they are wrong. and you are right.

There are arguments as to why it is a good following and arguments as to why it isn't, they can be debated all day long but ultimately the view is down to the perception of the individual, I think it was a good following, my mate thought it was shit, on the Football Away Days page some fans of other Clubs thought it was shit, some, including Sheffield Wednesday fans thought it was good and that we were the best fans at Hillsborough so far this season (that's on facebook not me making it up BTW).

As to you being on here, you don't really bother me, at times you post some decent stuff, other times you post sanctimonious bullshit but I seldom reply so take it with a pinch of salt.

I post on here mostly to give my views on the club, and am not looking for replies or conversation. If someone responds I am happy enough to have a chat, but unless I am looking for an answer to a question or something, I am happy enough just giving a view and leaving it at that. I know from experience that Roathie craves attention, and loves to provoke posters into a long, and mostly pointless debate. I think he has just spent a week talking about sausages and sunbathing. While many of us are happy just to give a point of view, Roathie desperately needs attention, and a simple post with no debate would not satisfy his huge ego. I think you will find that simply ignoring him and not getting into long drawn out conversations would result him seeking the attention he needs elsewhere. Worth giving it a try, he will soon get bored if he is unable to get his ego fix on this forum.

Whether you are interested doesn’t matter really. If nobody is interested then this thread wouldn’t even exist and nobody would care. So it’s not actually true.

As for the troll thing... how exactly am I trolling? By being accurate and not stooping to peoples name calling and jibes?

To me that’s an exemplary poster isn’t it?

Are we supposed to then? I thought the idea of a football forum was to have debate and not be a dating site.

There are far too many oddballs on here for me to wish to do that, look at this thread for example - all because I said “in derby games form goes out the window but you do look exceptionally bad (in a match you were 5-0 down in)” - if people can’t handle that then the instability there must be astronomical, truly.
