Harris has lost every fan, wether you admit it or not

Wed Jan 01, 2020 4:22 pm

This result - (god knows what the final score is, wether QPR score a few more or we claw a couple back) -
You should NEVER be 5-0 down in a football game, especially when you’re above the team you’re playing.

We’ve had a couple passes here and there that are okay, but generally this is the worst performance since I can remember. This is worse than Solskjaer performances.

As far as I’m concerned I don’t think Harris can claw back any genuine support after this. 5-0? Are you serious?

From the team selection, the substitutes at half time, the way we’re set up, the tactics, everything was wrong today, it’s not good enough.

I could easily do what most of you are going to do and pretend this window will fix our problems, or that Harris needs more time.
No, we’ve drawn 0-0 and 1-1 at our last home games, and the result on Sunday was good however that’s one in 4 that was a good result. On top of that, this scoreline has well and truly ruined Harris’s chances of a successful time here. End of story.

It’s a matter of time now as far as I’m concerned.

I agree fans will never get behind him now

I agree.

Unfortunately for us I can see this happening again in the Swansea game.

Why does it take us so long to replace one decent manager with another one.

Re: Harris has lost every fan, wether you admit it or not

Wed Jan 01, 2020 4:45 pm

he wasn't wanted from the start because he is a below average manager who plays terrible football. I never wanted him but didn't think he would he as bad as he has been, clearly lacking in brain cells and comman sense.

replace him now and give us a chance.

Re: Harris has lost every fan, wether you admit it or not

Worse thing is we gave him a 3 year deal haha

Do you honestly think that this board would appoint anybody decent?

They haven't got the first idea about what they're doing.

Board are clueless, it's the blind leading the blind. When Harris left millwall they were 18th, they are now 6th. And we hired this guy to get top 6. You couldn't write this shite :banghead:

Worst thing the club did was tell the fans we were looking to go in a different direct THEN appoint Harris...

it really really doent feel like it...but we are only 3 points off the play offs and results since he has been here are not bad...

having said that im puzzled as to what our team are trying to do, and big chunks of games are awful even when we get points..

The fan base is disillusioned. I weirdly see the Swansea game as a win win situation now... obviously want us to win but if we lose we may be another step closer to getting rid of the clown

...after saying at the start of the season that we were going to have a real go at getting promoted this season.

They really have no idea what they're doing.

If we lose i believe it will be the first time ever either side has done the league double in a single season. That will go down like a lead balloon. Hes under massive pressure now.

Re: Harris has lost every fan, wether you admit it or not

I honestly think this will be a very low attendance for the Swansea game and I think attendances will get lower so many supporters were saying they will not be getting a season ticket next season after the last 2 home games were clear the way Harris thinks we should play.

This score line against a mid team is embarrassing shows no passion from the players I hope they don't sleep tonight they don't deserve too but if they do shows what kind of players they are as they should be more embarrassed.

I hope not but I sadly think we will get well beat by Swansea and all you will here is Harris out not how the derby should be but you can see it but even if we win I still think Harris was the wrong man for the job

We so far we've sold 27000 tickets for the Swansea game, do that blows your 1st line out of the water. You can't blame Harris for this result, the blame lies firmly with Warnock who walked out knowing the squad wasn't good enough. It will be 5 years before we make a real challenge for promotion again, the squad needs to be ripped apart and totally rebuilt.

I was optimistic, the early games on sky you could see some changes.

But the more games i see the worse the football is, esp at home which has been boring as fk and got me thinking do I want to renew? Even my son is telling me he's bored.

I can get cagey away games and not playing great, but at home we should be giving it a proper go.

Think Tan, Dalman and Choo need to answer a few uneasy questions too

Re: Harris has lost every fan, wether you admit it or not

So does that mean we don’t give credit to Harris for any points he has put on the board??
Of course we can blame Harris!!

Fickle as f as how you sum up the small percentage that represent our fan base on this board.
I am not happy after today, but I am not going to go OTT and slam the manager and board.
Our fans base is actually cringeworthy.. however, that’s the modern day football fan.

You believe what you want.

A lot of people have stuck up for him and said lets give him a chance. The results have been ok. The performances have been terrible.

After today people have seen all they need too. The man is literally Russel Slade 2.0 he won’t be able to get us in the play offs we will just linger around beneath them.

This squad is nowhere near good enough for promotion, shocking signings by Warnock, Harris needs to replace 80% of team, nothing in the under 23’s to bring in as that was left to rot.
So not going to slam Harris.. a lot of the players need to take a long hard look at themselves as they have let this club down.

Wasnt it worse back in the day with people protesting and even people would rush up to the directors to get at them back in the 80s so to be honest the modern fan could be a lot worse than just saying they want a change of manager

The squad is good enough. We just need someone to get them to play as a team again. This is a near £70million squad and is littered with international players. The team just needs tweaking and a decent manager would easily get better results out of them

Re: Harris has lost every fan, wether you admit it or not

Wed Jan 01, 2020 7:15 pm

This result has been coming for a long time, before Harris came here and the blame lies squarely on Warnock. He left a disjointed and not fit enough squad for Harris to deal with. People who are blaming Harris have got it totally wrong!

If we win on Saturday and more important beat the Jacks, he will get the support back.

Agreed. Much as I hate Gary Rowett he's managed to get much better results from the Millwall players than Harris did and he has also not had the opportunity to get in any of his own players. He also seems to have managed to get those same players to play in a different way to how they were playing under Harris.

If he can do it, why can't Harris, especially when the manager himself seems to think that the squad he is working with now is much better than he had at Millwall?

Sorry I cannot agree with that.. might have spent a lot of money on squad but wasted money..

The "modern fan" attends games in big numbers. You could attack the directors box in the 80s because there was hardly anyone in the ground to get in your way.

Harris has more or less said that the squad is good enough himself and if he didn't believe that he could improve the current squad why would he have come here when he would have known that no funds would be available to him to change that squad?
