I wouldn't say that although a good win. If he can get us getting results regularly and playing well then I'd be delighted. If we are in the playoffs at the end of the season he would have hit what has to be his target.
Excellent win but plenty to be done.

One loss in nine now, how anyone can still moan is beyond me. He needs to transfer windows at least and is already making positive changes.

Unbelievable writing off a manager prior to his ninth game in charge, with no transfer window behind him and players that looked clueless.
Based on this you would have had Warnock on borrowed time after his first 8 games.
Just give NH a chance - showed more flexibility in one game than Warnock did all this season - shows he is willing to try things.
2blue - which progressive manager did you want then ?

That's not my job it's for the club to look at who is available. One thing is for sure Harris has never been known for playing any kind of decent football and that hasn't changed since he has been here.

For me today that game needed smart management and IMO Harris showed his credentials.Changed the shape of the team as and when needed and todays victory was as much his game management as the players performance. All those blowing it out of their brown hole over his appointment are starting to look a bit silly.Looking forward to the next couple of weeks.

A fan if you’re comments generally but disagreed over your recent assertion Bamba was not ready... Do you still believe Bamba isn’t ready?

Yes but didn't Harris say,the player knows when they are ready? Maybe Bamba was honest enough to say he wasn't ready, but great to see him on the field again,a good calming influence, who will be demanding of those around him.

Not sure I exactly said that but he has been out a long time and is getting on. Haven't seen any of todays game but seems he was his usual self which of course is a huge bonus.
I guess the manager has to look forward as well as today tho and we have a number of centre backs with experience at a younger age. I can see the logic in playing Bamba and leaving him out.

Looks like he is unlikely to receive any backing in the transfer windows so he'll have to wheel and deal with free transfers, loans and lower league players. Sometimes that works, most times it doesn't.

I think it was quite brave to put Bamba on when Mendez came off as it would have been easier just to replace him with Murphy.
We looked much more solid with three centre backs marshalled by Bamba and with two decent wing backs in Jazz and Bacuna.
However, we still had only 36% of the ball meaning we were under pressure for virtually the whole of the second half. Good organisation at the back meant that we were able to hold out.

Chucking dead money after dead money rarely works either.

I agree. Two inept home performances followed by an unlikely win with 36% possession and two goals from our only two shots on target and our new manager is a hero again.
He was neither that bad before or a genius now.
We had a good afternoon at Wednesday but I reckon the most significant bit is Bamba being back on the pitch.
