I'm sure someone will update but I don't recall this being a 'walk up' for many a year
Having said that, it's a pretty awkward place to get to on New Year's Day, so tickets are still available via the club (City) ticket office and e-ticketing

The last time we played there on news years day 3 or 4 years ago, there were dozens there without tickets. Fortunately there were dozens who hadn't made the trip with it being News Years day. Worked out fine in the end.

Your right, had tickets off Vince loads of times, as recently as Brentford in fact.
