This squad and Pep Guardiola

Fri Dec 27, 2019 8:52 am

For those that are on Neil Harris back after 1 loss in 8 games.....he's inherited this squad after many many training sessions to get them to play Warnock's way. It takes time to turn around a football clubs mentality, this isn't FIFA 20, this is real life.

Pep Guardiola would struggle with this squad, Neil Harris needs at least two transfer windows to turn this around and if you haven't the patience to turn up, support your club, shut up and give him time then football and most certainly Cardiff City is not for you.

People are allowed a opinion.
Name me one reason you think he is capable of turning it around from what we have seen so far and his time at Millwall?

Indeed people are allowed an opinion, hence why I gave mine.

We have lost once in eight games. That in itself is progress.

Anyone who thinks Harris has an easy job needs to think again. The squad has been assembled and drilled for a style of play. We either accept we need to stick to that style, though frankly if we want to do that we may as well still have Sir Neil, or realise that change takes time.

We need to hope our owners and hierarchy have a footballing realisation. Harris appointment suggests they didn't have an appetite for wholescale changes probably as they realise the cost implications. All Harris can do us tinker.
