Flint on his way?

Thu Dec 26, 2019 6:07 pm

After the game Flint went around the stadium clapping each section of the ground.

That is usually the action of a player saying goodbye. Anyone got snippets of information?

Don't get too excited.

He does it every home game.

He does it every game.
Probably gets abuse off some halfwits too.

I respect him for that, doesn’t hide and had another good game today.

Pity a few more don’t show his desire in the box

Yup, well said.
A good solid game. Defence is gradually looking more solid imho but don’t say it too loud otherwise there’ll be a positivity alert!!!

Just like Morrison, flint needs players around him to make up for his lack of pace. Morrison had manga or bamba covering for him so we were pretty solid in our promotion season. Most of the season he’s had Morrison as a partner and pack as cover. Absolutely no pace between them which left us badly exposed. That is not flints fault though. Flint has looked much better since Nelson has gone in. I think a lot of people have already made up their mind about him though.

Can't imagine Flint going anywhere. You can't have a team of players all needing to play with others with pace to cover them. Some of them have to actually have the required pace. And our central spine has none. Gunnar wasn't quick but he makes Pack look like Usain Bolt.

Player shows gratitude to fans, must be leaving.

I never said he was going anywhere and I said a player like flint needs cover, which he hasn’t had for a lot of the season....
