Its an unbelievably disappointing list considering its taking in a hugely successful period in our history. Not knocking the compiler just so strange that there are not more candidates with longevity. Whitts stands out on that front. The list is padded out a lot and Macheda, Kenwyne, Daehli and a few others really have no place or if they do there are countless others to include for sake of it.

yes I suppose , they didn't play a great deal in this decade but neither did quite a few on the list...

yes I suppose , they didn't play a great deal in this decade but neither did quite a few on the list...

Funny. They played the 10/11 season so sneak in. Last time we actually had a pair of strikers.

I initially would have thought the same..but they played the 2nd half of the 2009/10 season...plus the 10/11 season...they probably would be high in a goals in the decade list..

For me players like Marshall,Hudson,Whitt’s and Gunnersson stand out for performing well for quite a number of seasons.
No don’t we have had better quality with the promotions but I’ll go for Whitt’s.

more or less how I see it...I would add Mozza .over 200 games ,in his 6th season, captain for a big chunk of that including while being promoted..

A very subjective question depending on class, longevity, style, etc.

Personally, I've gone for Craig Bellamy, as he is the player who excited me most by his arrival and pretty much lived up to his (playing) hype!

For longevity and contribution, I would have gone for Whitts

Can only be the legend that is peter whittingham for me
