A forum for all things Cardiff City

Next season unless by miracle Cardiff get promoted crowds will be down to 12 to 15000 and after that, who knows. Why replace Neil Warnock's hoof ball football with another manager who likes to play hoof ball football(wasted opportunity). Every time our keeper has the ball all the team disappears beyond the halfway line ready for the inevitable punt..Utter thoughtless shite. If I was Tomlin I would take the opportunity and leg it to a football team in January before his frustration gets the better of him. Yesterday I was sunk in my seat listening to complaints all around me while watching the ball fly through the air time after time after time, forever hoping that maybe one professional city player other than Tomlin would attempt to take control and introduce the abused football to the perfectly manicured grass, that today's players have the pleasure of performing on every week. Against Leeds Neil Harris chose to start with Flint and Morrison, even a novice knew that Leeds forward line were much to mobile for that combination. Nothing has changed in style and I doubt that it will, judging by what I have seen so far. Where has Whyte gone? Can anyone tell me why murphy deserved a chance yesterday? He looks as excited as Jeremy Coburyn returning to the commons. Bored shitless, and struggling to get excited for any game at the moment. No doubt though i will keep going just like the last 37 years. Am i asking to much to expect a club with decent players on fat contracts by championship standards to at least move with the times and attempt to play the beautiful game in a way that us fans could only dream of doing ourselves. Rant over.

Love to play nice football but that could several years and possibly low crowds with little prospect of promotion ! That in it self will mean low crowds unfortunately our fan base is fickle, and besides it will definitely need a change of ownership and dalman and ken to go so cannot see it happen for several years .

Crikey.. why all the doom and gloom.
All part and parcel of supporting your local team..
Just enjoy and be glad we have a football club to support.

Its because fans want to see fancy football and promotion at same time! As I've pointed our earlier may not be best football st moment but we are holding our own when comes to goals scored so just need to improve style of play and see a lot more happier fans

Ultimately, our chances of promotion will dictate the attendance. It’s the same at any ground across the country. Yet, as long as we’re competitive, we’ll continue to grab the attention of the kids we need to base our future fan base upon. Onwards and upwards. We’ve come on leaps and bounds in the last ten years and we’re an international city
