3 shots on target in 2 home games

Sun Dec 22, 2019 8:43 am

Disgusting that we've only had 3 shots on target in our last 2 home games. Yes we got 4 points from those 2 games, but the strike rate is dire. Very few chances being created for our strikers, and I heard that none of our wingers voted in the general election because they can't put a cross in the box. Worrying for the second half of the season and needs to be sorted quickly. I see that Harris praised our defence yesterday, but it was down to Preston being poor in the final third, not our defence which is looking very nervy when teams attack at pace.

The defence is fine its everybody in front of them leaving it exposed which is the problem in my opinion.

Our strikers also do not help themselves by not getting into the box or creating anything for themselves. You cant keep blaming the rest of the team for our dire strikers not scoring

What about fact weve only scored 12 goals less than top team? Recent game in championship had no efforts by either side it happens....My concern is the fact we only had 1 corner and that was 90+mins showed we were far to passive especially at home...
Ps spurs are in injury time have not had shot on target at home !! :o

I agree Don Keydick.

We lack creativity for sure and crowds attend to be entertained by goal attempts. Games that don't produce them are not what it's about.

I agree as well.
Hopefully it was a one off and it was the first game I’ve seen under Harris so was very unimpressed!

If home games continue like that we’ll see attendances fall as fans want to be entertained and see a fighting spirit.

January will be interesting.
