Bartley the Bluebird

Sat Dec 21, 2019 6:15 pm

Took my 6 year old football loving boy for the first time today. Was praying for a goal or two for him. Couldn’t have picked a worse game could I!!!! Was fearing the worst, but he loved it, and asked when he can go again!!!!! and Bartley was a big reason for that, cheers Bartley :ayatollah:

Brilliant - great that he enjoyed himself and hopefully he'll become a lifelong fan.

Could have been worse!

When my father took me to my first game in 1970 aged 7 against Huddersfield we lost 1-0 but it never put me off.

Sometimes I wish it bloody had!

The game was so bad, Bartley was the only reason I stayed and I’m 40.

Glad your boy enjoyed it and wants to return.
