No difference

Between this team and the one that played under Warnock. No tactics. Rarely play out from the back as Etheridge just boots it anywhere down the field usually near the touchline to an isolated forward up against 2 big Centre Backs. Nearly every throw in is down the line making our ball a 50 50 and then lose the second ball. I agree with Annis I can’t see us going anywhere under Harris.
Peltier shocking going forward and our wingers are ineffective. We go to football to support our side and expect entertainment. No shots on goals is dreadful. It was said that Tan wanted 30 shots a game under Harris. Really!!!!

Nothing has changed, they went for a like for like replacement oddly. As far as I'm aware Harris has never been known for playing any kind of decent football. Hugely missed opportunity from the club.

Preston better than us simples. Progressive manager two years in compared to our rebuild, it not.

If any one has any numbers on how much Preston have spent I imagine it would make interesting reading.

I think there is a huge difference, it might not be working but it’s blatantly obvious we’re not hitting the long ball as quickly.

In reality I think there’s a few players who are on borrowed time as they can’t the new system.

Could be a few moved on in January like Murphy, Madine and maybe more if we can get others in.

its still going long, but yes its less often. in fairness its been a busy time with midweek fixtures which limits training ground time..

I wouldn't say huge, very minimal really.

Yes not as long as often, but if anything it's less effective. It's not as if we are trying to play football. We just passe it wide a few more times before playing it long or hoping Tomlin does something.

Bizarre..
Etheridge boots it ANYWHERE down field ,usually near the touchline...TO an isolated forward..hmmm
there is another post on the board. similar.. where he has piss poor accuracy and the PNE CBs took the pee UNTIL Madine came on..

Poor Etheridge doesn't know what to do really! We dont play with anyone upfront from corners so cant give it long, we dont have anyone running wide for him to throw to, we dont play out from back either so it's a wait until everyone is ready then boot long towards general direction of lone city striker marked by two defenders! That about sums up situation
