Lee Tomlin on THAT assist:
The Bluebirds star produced the assist of the season to set up Robert Glatzel for the equaliser late on against Leeds United at Elland Road last week.
I was with Robert on the coach to Elland Road.
I was watching Zidane and Bergkamp, as I love to do, and Robert was sitting next to me saying: “Wow!”
I said: “I’m going to try to do something like that today.”
I don’t know if he always understands my accent, but he laughed as if to say: “Yeah , OK Tommo.”
It was great for him to watch that with me and know that I was going to do something unexpected. I think that’s why he read the pass so well and slotted it home.
