All this talk of strikers, we need to be able to defend. Scoring goals hasn't been our problem this season, leaking them left right and centre is a more pressing concern. I believe in Glatzel and he will come good playing with Tomlin.

A new left back and right back, that can attack as well as defend would be my priority.

I agree with you - when you look at goals scored vs conceded we are scoring enough but conceding too many compared to the top teams. Could do with some new ruthless fullbacks IMO.

knock long balls to Glatzel and they just come straight back .. I really don't see how this playing him with Tomlin works when our game plan to get into the opponents half requires a percentage of long balls staying up there.. and he just doesn't do that for you.

Left back is a funny one, Bennett is terribly out of form and we have no back up.

For me right back with some pace and playing only one of Morrison and Flint (obvious to most just not our managers this season).

Seemed to work fine at leeds not so many long balls,just a good understanding from both Glatzel & Tomlin.

Plenty of number just either not good enough, can't play together or to old and lacking pace. It's an area that needed looking at and wasn't and the player (Flint) was the wrong choice.

You’re right about long balls to Glatzel as that’s not the way to play him but include Tomlin in a proper system and I can see it working.

I haven’t seen us play under Harris as I’ve been away but I thought it was a bit more possession based and controlled rather then humping it to a no.9 as per Warnock?

I agree. We are somehow scoring enough goals to win games if we could defend better. We need more clean sheets and 1 nil wins shawly.
