CARDIFF CITY:
ALMOST FORGOTTEN CARDIFF CITY MAN HAS BECOME A KEY PLAYER UNDER HARRIS:

Neil Harris’s tenure at Cardiff City was summed up in their second-half comeback against Leeds United at the weekend, but one man in particular has flourished under the ex-Millwall manager.
Lee Tomlin has himself stated Neil Warnock would make every excuse going not to play him.
When Patrick Bamford scored his second of the afternoon against Cardiff at the weekend, seven minutes after the restart to put the home side 3-0 up, it looked as though Cardiff were in-line for their biggest defeat under Harris.
Coming off the back of a narrow defeat at Brentford last week, Harris’ side ventured out on another testing away fixture at Elland Road. Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds had two goals in the opening ten and were ready to continue their spell at the top of the Championship table.
But Harris inspired a second-half comeback when Lee Tomlin pulled one back. Sean Morrison then closed the gap to one before being sent-off five minutes later with as many to go, and Robert Glatzel popped up with his first goal on his comeback from injury to give Cardiff a point up in Yorkshire.
An inspired team performance to comeback against the Championship giants, but it was Tomlin who received the most praise on the day, as he continues his resurgent form since Harris’ appointment last month.
The 30-year-old scored two goals on-loan at Peterborough in League One last season before returning to Cardiff in the summer. He missed the start of the season through injury but featured as a rotational player under Warnock, playing in seven of the 17 games that the veteran gaffer oversaw before his departure from the club.
Tomlin wasn’t overly impressive under Warnock – he scored a free-kick to take a point from Sheffield Wednesday back in October, but couldn’t hold down a regular starting-spot.
