Glatzel Interview

Sat Dec 14, 2019 6:45 pm

Just watched his interview on Club TV, it was great to see clips of Madine congratulating him after the game. And then during his interview he jumped in and kissed him on the cheek.

I think Glatzel has had some unfair stick. I think he can come good still. I think having Medine playing well (obviously needs a goal) if we could get another we have some options. Ward, Vassell Bogle can go imo.

Since I first saw Glatzel play I said he was a proper footballer.
He has a good touch, holds the ball up well, brings others into play and has good movement.

Coming from a lower league, albeit a more technical type of football, Warnocks style of play was never going to suit him.

I am a fan and hope he gets game time and does well for us. I like his style.

He is very good with the ball at his feet. Much better than he is in the air anyway. Him and Tomlin linked up pretty well when we played Huddersfield at home. Hopefully they can form a good partnership under Harris.

He definitely got his luck today he nearly missed the ball completely with his kick... but nothing like a scuffed goal to hopefully give him confidence as I feel we should stop the Madine experiment now

I’m sorry but I really can’t see where his luck came from. He hit the ball well and it certainly wasn’t scuffed, it’s actually a very composed finish.

Definitely not scuffed and considering had defender breathing down his neck goalie coming out it was a good finish behond goalie! Not bad for a substitute..

Always said he was by far our best striker option. Problem was Warnock was leaving him isolated by himself up top. He will link up Well with Tomlin because has the intelligence and mobility to make runs that Madine can’t.

Having seen another angle it’s actually an excellent finish... my first angle it definitely looked like a scuff (as he has done many times in games played) and it’s also reported somewhere as a mis hit goal but I stand corrected!

Don't give a f@ck if he whacked it it off his knob,it went in,end of story really.pleased for him though, confidence is key for any striker, and I'm in the camp of,perhaps under Harris he may well shine  him and Tomlin our new heroes :old: :bluebird:
