MY VIEW / OPINION: NEIL HARRIS MADE CHANGES TO THE CARDIFF TEAM TODAY / AFTER THE DEFEAT AT BRENTFORD.


CARDIFF CITY WENT FROM BEING WORSE THAN AWFUL IN THE FIRST-HALF, TO AN INCREDIBLE COME BACK

City really were awful, but suddenly in a 20min period in the 2nd=half City came back to 3-3 and Sean Morrison was sent off.

Sean Morrison & Mendez-Laing both started today.
Will Vaulks made his first start under Harris and just his second start all season.


Cardiff continue to be Leeds bogey team and came away with a valuable away point

Cardiff could off been 4 nil down in the first-half.

Terrible start after just 6mins. Cardiff’s corner was cleared and Pablo Hernandez, on the right-hand side, sent an incredible diagonal ball 50 yards towards Helder Costa, who took a touch and slotted past Etheridge. 1-0

9th min And another. Leeds were rampant. Stuart Dallas on the corner of the box, crossed into Bamford at the back post and he had far too much time to chest it down and score from five yards out. Woeful defending from City. 2-0

Cardiff spent most of the first-half defending, Leeds could of been 4 up.

41st min Flint came off, Nelson came on Cardiff.

51st min Penalty to Leeds! Bamford was hauled down by Etheridge and it was a clear penalty. 3-0

Etheridge made a brilliant save, then minutes later MinCasilla came out to punch a cross and completely missed it. It fell to Tomlin at the back post and he did incredibly well to lift it back across goal and into the far corner. 3-1


65th min Vaulks went off, Whyte came for Cardiff.

71st min Danny Ward came off, Robert Glatzel came on.


It was still nearly all Leeds.

Then in the 82min Sean Morrison made it 3-2

87th min Sean Morrison sent off

88th min Cardiff made it 3-3 incredible com back Glatzel

Ultimately, it's a great result. I would have been delighted with a point before kick off and overjoyed with it after that first half display.

Nelson made hell of a difference. Great comeback IMO a couple of big names will be leaving in January

I guess some on here may be prepared to give Harris another week. After all, we have lost a game since he has been here so one more defeat and that's him gone.

We are still in there and that's what matters especially after the last 2 games.. have said need to hang in there until January and see if can bring in the nessasary players to strengthen the team..

Yes. I didn't expect us to get anything from either game too. So a good result today.

Yes, sounded dreadful for an hour, but I think all this 3-0 is the new 2-0 stuff that’s been handed about by pundits recently, has some substance. Sounded like dirty Leeds took the foot off and failed to walk it home. Naieve substitutions by them. Great fight back, pleased for Harris, pleased for Glatzel. Awesome finale, leaping around the kitchen!!

The first 60 mins we were unbelievably bad. Peltier, etheridge, flint, morrison, ralls and even Tomlin and pack kept giving the call away. Then magic tomlin scored and we were so much better

Dont think fans appreciate the effort team put in to get a draw! Yes we were awful 1st half but the game is 90+mins long and 2nd half we won game 3-1 so must done something right as did Harris

As much as I'm biased towards city it was a pen and a straight red.Seen better timing on a broken clock and typical of a player that's been out for a while.Have to say Leeds played some great football and made us look mugs on times with Bennet who apart from the cross where Mozza scored was awful.I hope this result doesn't paper over the cracks.I don't think Valks did himself any favours either.

I thought we would get well and truly stuffed today, nothing to do with our manager who has done nothing to warrant the crap aimed at him today, but simply because I think Leeds are way above our current level. I still think a top ten finish is about as good as it will get, but if we can hang in there and strengthen in a couple of weeks, who knows?

Steve, considering how few 90 minute performances we've put in over the last 3 seasons, a 75 minute one would do me !

Why are we so bad in the first half? Wednesday was the same.

It was noticeable for us all to see that Harris got the set up wrong today with Tomlin out wide. But in all fairness to him he changed it up soon after the break and we looked a better team, albeit still outclassed though we were better as a team. And it was nice to see him finally bring Ward off as he offered nothing at all today. I thought it was over after Mozza got the sending off, never ever a red though. It was a tactical foul. It was great to see Glatzel finish that as it was a great run and he showed massive composure. But Tomlin’s flick was just incredible!

A tremendous result on the road even though it was a poor performance overall. But getting results from games like that normally spurs on a team. Imagine the feeling in the dressing room after.

It's a shame we started with such a stupid line up which was obviously never going to work. Pretty much the same as under Warnock, far to defensive from the off and only coming into games when behind.

It was noticeable for us all to see that Harris got the set up wrong today with Tomlin out wide. The red card is a typical championship refereeing decision! Yes was tactical foul but unfortunately both his legs were raised not dangerous and should been yellow but was open to getting sent off

Superb. On the coach back home and the mood is great, it's given everyone a lift. Leeds Are Falling Apart Again. Hah.
