We were dreadful in first 20 mins and defence wide open, awful

Morrison and Flint is without a doubt mind blowingly stupid.

Would anyone (except any jacks on here) have chosen that team and defence, I'd be surprised if they would have. Conman sense says it wouldn't work.

Possession alone doesn’t win games, but it helps. Which is why every team that wins the top leagues almost always dominates possession.

Trying or not giving up doesn’t mean you deserve points. You have to play well to get any kind of consistent return in this league, or any league saying that. Good point in isolation but to pretend the concerns of those saying how awful the performance was is not now invalid due to 2 shots. Be happy with the point and move on. Ignoring weaknesses however will kill you.

Beating a team that has 32 shots against you doesn’t mean that it proves shots aren’t important and a vital stat in success. It means on that particular day, an unlikely event happened and they didn’t transfer the shots into goals.

City went up with probably lowest possession stats in championship but spent more time in opposition last 3rd than anyone else and shots on target, football is not about pretty football with 70+% possession its about goals scored always have been.... we had 3 shots on target 3 goals it's that simple

He was at fault for the penalty today and arguably the second goal he should have come out and challenged the striker who had time to bring the ball down 5 yards out control it and finish without Etheridge coming off his line.

He surely must be on thin ice

A lot depends on where the possession is....if you have loads of ball but it’s in your own half then it doesn’t really matter ???
Today city played awful for 50 mins ...conceded 3 goals ...had a player sent off and still got a point.
Looks to me Harris is giving most of the squad a chance to show what they can do I.e Morrison/ Vaulks starting today.
Reckon there will be a few goodbyes in January.
Personally , I think Morrison or Flint could go out on loan with Nelson and maybe Bamba our first choice pairing .
Flint has never looked worth the money imo ...

Sir Neil used to say games were won and lost in penalty areas. And he's right. Possession alone counts for nothing. We are not yet proving ourselves good enough in our own penalty area and invite way too much pressure onto ourselves. Flint and Morrison will never ever ever be a successful championship partnership.
