Neil Harris has responded to Marcelo Bielsa’s comments about Cardiff City being a ‘very British team’ by insisting his side’s football is evolving under his leadership.

The Leeds United boss, who will welcome the Bluebirds to Elland Road on Saturday, praised Harris for the work he has done in a short period of time in the Welsh capital, earning 10 points from his first five games.

But the Argentine’s remarks regarding the brand of football Cardiff have employed in recent years have not gone unnoticed.

And while Harris welcomed the acknowledgement for the impact he and his coaching staff have made in recent weeks, he believes the football he is trying to implement will, in time, move away from that ‘very British’ stereotype.
