VINCE ALM:

Good afternoon all just a couple of things to clear up regards tickets and allocations;

I have seen a few posts having a go at the club for not doing things tit fr tat;

Firstly £39 for a Leeds united Q. adult ticket; why can't we charge the Leeds the same as they are charging us?

Answer: At the start of the season all football league clubs have to send their pricing structure to the football league and they check to ensure that pricing is consistent in a stadium depending on view and location. They also check that the away supporters are paying no more than the home supporters for the same view these are football league rules. In Leeds case I believe they wanted to charge away supporters for Cat A games £42 but once checked by the league what home supporters were paying in the same areas the price was lowered to £39 which home fans pay every week.

Swansea ticket allocation and price; Q. Why have Swansea been given 2000 tickets when we only received 1650?

Answer; The away allocation of tickets according to football league rules is as follows; 10 per cent of the capacity or a minimum of 2000 which in this case we have had to comply with the latter 2000. The reason the allocation at Swansea was 1650 was due to the amount of coaches they can park in their away compound. Cardiff City FC argued that our away compound on derby day was restricted space due to sky Lorries etc, but the league over ruled the club as we have accommodated 2000 at all previous fixtures with the grounds current capacity.

The Swansea ticket price is the same as what home supporters pay in similar areas which was reduced by the football league at the start of the season to a lower category as we were intending to put it in a different category.

Personally I think we have bigger things to sort out like keeping a clean sheet and scoring goals, although ticket pricing needs to be affordable, but that is just my opinion.

Would be great but I can’t see that happening this season they’ve got a very decent team.
Still, we can live in hope :laughing6:
