There’s been a change to the scouting setup. Some decisions were made before I got here. The club wanted a change of direction in a lot of ways. When you have a new regime it’s an opportunity to change in a lot of ways.

I wish Glyn all the best moving forward. Slight change now with Tim Henderson coming in as head of scouting.

The department will become more analytical as well.

We have to get with the times and with scouting through watching players.

Analytics plays a big part. Stats are huge in terms of recruitment and references on recruitment.

Moving forward I’ll have a big part to play in decision making. It takes a period and you have to get the right person in

Well it's definitely progress from Sir Neils "I've always fancied him since he came on against me for nonleague village wanderers. I could have signed him a couple of times but he was having a tattoo the one time and couldn't be arsed and then the other time my chairman was arsey with me because all my other signings were fooked. We fell out over that, scandalous really, and I left shortly after. But that's football isn't it.

it will be progress when we do better than we did for NWs 3 years.
