It was always going to take times for a new manager to change our style of player. However I don't think Harris has any intention of changing much. Yes we seen a slight improvement but the basis stays the same. I think we missed a trick.

yeah i don't really recall his millwall side playing decent football, i remember them playing 442, rather flat 442, long ball to target man morrison i believe and then gregory would try and latch onto the second ball.

i would of liked a more long term approach, someone who would develop a style and identity to the club, an expansive possession based game, i know alot on here said they thought fulham were to boring when they played us, and yet its working for them again. however i am more than happy to write this season off, and give Harris a free hit and see what happens in the summer

mate.. have a look at who Fulham have bought and the wages they pay. they have players who would be in our team not playing. and they are 4 points ahead..

i get what you talk about in regards to the players they spent big money on, but you cannot deny we have thrown big money around ourselves. our wages i bet are probably the top 4 highest in the league. although to counter your arguement i would say there are plenty of teams who have signed players for low fees etc, and play good football. i dont think you can say just because they spent big money, justifies they play attractive football that works.

madine - £6m
Glatzel - £5.5m
Flint - £6m (reported)
Pack - £4m
Cunningham - £4m
Murphy - £11m

you cant say, ooh thats not enough money spent to play good football. again i'll give Harris time, but i would just of prefered someone who could come in, set up an identity, develop the academy and get us playing good football, even if it took 4/5 years to reap the success rather than someone who played a flat 442 at his last job. again this isnt a dig at harris, just i thought the club had a big opportunity and i think they missed a trick there

it wasn't an argument or my opinion it was a fact. Fulham have spent an absolute fortune compared to ourselves.

my opinion...yes your right there are clubs who have spent less, and knock it around. they generally come here have 70% pos .. less touches in the attacking penalty area than us.. less corners. less shots and lose...
I believe to be playing a passing game you have to genuinely have the better footballers .

I hate that list btw...
had a convo with a jack about 8/9 months ago.. he went on about wasted money 18mill for this one, 18 for that one, 15 for another..62 million pounds worth of uselessness out on loan...I said nothing thinking how out raged pple on here are at 2 , 4 and 5 million for players that are actually still here and often in the squad ...and how ridiculous me saying that's nothing mate Warnock bought Cunningham and bogle would sound...its not small time its smaller..

20m on mitrovic top scorer championship and for that they are indeed 4 points better off.. other players are high earners and big signings.. Its not about money its about how you get the players play for you? To that end it's far to early to judge Harris :old:

One thing is certain and that's Harris won't be given the sort of money to spend that's on that list.

Agree. I think some managers are better without money.

Very very few managers ever have significant sums of money.
