Maybe injured but probably also down the pecking order, I don't think he offers anywhere near the quality Hoilett, NML, Murphy do.

Played way too defensive under Warnock. Hopefully see more of his attacking side when he’s back from injury. None of our wingers are in any sort of form. Maybe NML with his two goals. But Murphy doesn’t even look like he wants to be here at the moment. So I doubt Harris will be reluctant to give him a game.

I don't disagree with much of that. Whyte was to defensive but even when he got in good forward areas he didn't seem go offer anything. No doubt he will get his chance, he doesn't seem to want to use Murphy who imo needs a manager who believes in him and get his confidence up.

agree, seems to be willing enough but short on quality. step up for him this season and might come good.

Not sure what’s going on with Murphy. On his day he is probably one of the best wingers in the league. Just doesn’t happen very often. Whytes work rate off the ball is class and we seen glimpses of what he can do on the ball as he’s got pace to burn. I’d agree his final delivery has been poor but that was the case with most of our players under Warnock this season. If whyte is brought back into the team over Murphy its probably a sign Murphy isn’t in Harris’ plans. If we could get anywhere near the £10mill we payed for him I’d probably sell him if it meant we could bring in a few players. He’s just nowhere near consistent enough.

On his current form, who in their right mind would offer half of what we paid for him :?: needs to show more fighting spirit,he's supposedly homesick? ? Pity Warnock wasn't told he'd turn out to be a soft un'.if it is true, then he needs to knuckle down, play well and maybe someone closer to mammy will make an offer for him.no good moping & sulking, suck it up,and get on with it. :old: :bluebird:

Exactly, that’s the problem. You’d think he would get his head down and try get a move closer to home if he is homesick. He might turn it around though you never know, he seems a player that thrives on confidence. Might get a lucky goal and kick on from there!

people said we wouldn't get our money back on Reid. and nobody thought we would get 8 mill for Ken...
anyway people get homesick. and its really not a sign of being soft..Bellers said he was { all be it when young } but also held Citeh to ransom re coming here { home } .. and Mangas transfer revolved around wanting to be home.. lots of players will and have moved closer to home given a chance.. we are all different

Agree with this if true.

I worked away at the age of 21 and felt a twang of homesickness but just got my head down and got through it.
These players are brought up from kids in clubs that give them, and do everything for them. They’re spoilt beyond.

Christ, he’s hardly playing in Australia it’s only Cardiff

Like I say, if the story is true!
