Persianlly i don't see a need for anymore than 5 stickies, good posts will find there way to the top.

Apologies, that's my fault. Was meant to drop quite a few of them earlier.

I've dropped some now.

The 24 hours after a match there are normally more than usual, but accept there were way too many.

Take your point about the election as well. I expect I'll be spending most of Thursday merging all the topics into one like last time.

The stickies don't bother me to be honest, I trust the mods to make the right calls, what is worse is when people create new threads on topics that are all ready being debated as if they want their moment in the sun.

In terms on the election, if I was in charge on here I would create one thread on the day and tell people to make their points and debate it in there, anyone who creates another thread on it I would just delete.

I don't get the stickies. We have decent interesting discussions about our players ( the one i created about ethridge, the Vaulks one and the post about Flint) you have to scroll down quite far to find, but yet posts about Athletico Baleres, the Jacks andRacism in Manchester get made stickies! I appreciate this is a football forum, but why are we highlighting subjects that have nothing to do with our club?

the ones at the top of the message board with bulbs to the left of them.
normal threads battle it out , with those more popular staying higher at the expense of less interesting posts which drop down...stickies however remain at the very top until a moderator decides to unsticky them no matter how irrelevant they are.
