I slate Flint

I’ve slated Flint every week so far under Harris, however I am very very pleased to happily admit Flint was the best player on the pitch today. He won everything, generally read the game extremely well, and actually pushed us forward on more than a few occasions. Very pleased with his performance and it showed with his goal and assist (defenders don’t get those if they play badly). Hopefully he’s set the standard now and he can keep it up. Chuffed with our defending today. I would slate Bennett today but in my opinion today was a one off for him, he’s never ‘THAT’ bad usually.

I think Flint has put in better performances than today... he played well but has done so before as well. A scapegoat for no reason with many others performing worse than him this season. As for Bennett he has been worse than Flint by far over the course of the season

I agree he was excellent today but it’s also fair to point out the strikers he was up against were approx 6ft and 2ft 6ins

I agree.
He’s been our best defender this season.

Scapegoat from fans who need to blame someone and as he’s new and stands out.. and isn’t the popular Bruno Manga, he’s the target.

Hopefully he’s won the doubters over now.

Class today can’t see Morrison getting back in this team to be honest

Credit where due, Flint was much better today. Looks like Morrison and Bamba be fighting but a spot on the bench unless Bamba is seen able to do a deep midfield role which away against strong sides when we are going to struggle for possession may not be a bad idea.
