In a poor game over all Cardiff had to keep fighting to the end and got another 3pts under Neil Harris.

That’s 3wins & 1draw and now 8th.
But the City defence looked awful at times.

First-half: Cardiff tried to play the ball on the floor again, but defensively we once again looked suspect.
For me Cardiff just about edged the first-half But against a very ordinary/struggling Barnsley team.

Second-half: Barnsley broke through Cardiff’s suspect defence again and took an early lead 1-2.
In the 69th min Danny Ward gave Cardiff a deserved equaliser.



Bacuna went off injured and it looked serious.

In the 90th min Lee Tomlin scores and gave Cardiff the 3pts.

I’m taking more positives than negatives out of this game.Tomlin playing 95 minutes and scoring at the death,Flint Had a good game,going behind twice and coming back,Harris seems to make changes at the right time.

Flint had his best game under Harris

But still our defence looked weak and that’s not good against a poor side like Barnsley.

On the positive side 3 Wind and a draw , 10pts from 12pts

Agreed Wez, Bennett has totally gone backwards.

Junior Hoilett improved today after awful recent performances under Harris.

Good battling spirit today.

Im a big Bennett fan but he was woeful today imo, and has been poor all season. Not sure what the hell has happened to him this season but I think he needs to be dropped as that left side is ripped to pieces every game.

Defence did not look like one that hadn't conceded for 4 hours.

I would say a good result but far from a good ‘display’. Had we drawn that game I’d struggle to find many positives

There wasnt many positives from today's game and the manager was at least honest in his comments after the game, but its 3 points and all that matters

don't think its all the defence I think the midfield is shocking we need Joe Ralls back.

I hope I am wrong but Pack is very poor to me

Could analyse the mistakes and poor goals conceded but last minute winner and 3 wins on the trot!!! Love it!!!

Taking nothing away from the positives of three points, but it's frightening how we are looking forward to Ralls being available again. Let's face it hes no Beckenbauer but he certainly has more than Bacuna and Pack. If Pack doesn't take calls of centre half's I'm not sure what else he does? Be interesting to see his passing stats and how many he makes in our half as opposed to how many in attacking half. Yet at the same time he stands off from making a tackle and rarely puts any real pressure on the man with the ball. Opponents midfield have so much time to play it's unreal, even sides at bottom of table like Stoke and Barnsley.

I know as a mass the fans can never speak as one, but we are a close to a schizophrenic fanbase as you can have.

I have serious doubts a vocal majority will ever be happy with anything but dungeon 1980's & 90's football. One missed pass and
howls of panics are screamed.

Without possession we can not get the ball to Tomlin and the wide lads. NML is visibly playing better as I believe he needs a bit more time to organise himself.

I think Pack is really important to our new style, he is a Btec Whitts, what we need to do is hide his lack of pace. A highly mobile Joe Ralls helps this but Bacuna is no slouch but I feel Joe is a grade above so that helps. So the wide midfielders have to help out more, this is where i think Whyte will eventually get the nod over Holiett and Josh

It was a shit game, but we won and poor teams are always unlucky and good un's lucky. So ill take 10 out of a possible 12 points
